Zazzaro703
I'm glad he is back. Now I just hope he plays well because I really don't want to hear a bunch of nonsense on here and from the media for two weeks about how he is done, can't make reads, holds the ball too long blah blah blah blah. I would have preferred they kept the decision under wraps though. Let the Vikings waste time watching film on McCoy. I guess that is out the window now. DM72
If it ain't broke don't fix it, and Colt has all the confidence is world right now I bet. I would prefer RG3 to be back after the bye week at home in a comfortable environment, but if beating bad teams will get his confidence going then forsure I'm all for it! LOL...You think Colt McCoy is the answer. Don't you? Dude is a serviceable backup. Wait till teams get some footage on him. The samething goes for Wheeten. Then you'll see. AlldaySkins
I haven't heard this anywhere else so I'm not buying it just yet. Until I see Schefter confirm or Gruden say it then I'm going to assume McCoy is starting.
pop0422
how does everybody know he's not 100%? im excited about this, loved colt but id rather have rg3 throwing it to dj when he's past the corner,,,
Rdskn4Lyf21
just heard, am jazzed. Count me among the diminishing number of fans who still 100% believe in him. I'm there with you

Renegade7
The CBS report is parroting Russini "sources within the organization told NBC4". The same Russini who tweeted at the start of the 2nd half of the Titans game that Cousins would start seconds before Colt took the field. I'll believe it when I see another source confirm, independent of the NBC4 report. Hate to say it, but you're absolutely right about this chick. If she came out with a report today saying the sky was blue, I'd still go to look outside just to make sure. Edit: For the record, I do believe he will start, and if he's 100%, he should start. He needs all the experience he can get

Destino
Whatever happens I hope we exit this season knowing if RG3 is our answer at QB or not. Worst case scenario is another unspectacular up and down year like 2013. Personally I think he's going to light the Vikings up and have really bounce back from 2013. We won't be missing Colt. Burgold
I think many of you are exactly backwards. This is the perfect week to start RGIII if he may not be ready. If he comes back and is rusty, tentative, or favoring his ankle... then you pull him, say he needed another week, and he still got his toes wet. After the bye week, it's got to be full steam go. The Vikes game lets you see where he is and lets him hopefully be great, but if not he can get pulled and then in two weeks come back to action stronger and readier. I_Bleed_B&G
I just moved to Minneapolis. I want to see thizzle in person and represent my team by wearing my redskins gear up here where they want to hate on the name
MarkMissoula
Watch RG3 suck against the Vikes and then we'll have endure two weeks of people clamoring to bring Colt back in! Which there is a decent chance of happening. How did he look in the preseaon?
Dan T.
Tape that ankle up tight and get him out there... Meanwhile here's Dianna "Scoop" Russini:
Stefanskins
Every single thread, Mr. Doom and Gloom. Get over it, he's 100%, you play the guy. Good god. Not usually.. He use to be one of the positive ones... suffering PTSD from that 4 game skids all.. he'll be great when we are 5-5 again.

Murphs56
I believe RG III has been ready to go for a few weeks now. They didn't want his first start to be back in Texas in Primetime

greenspandan
so awesome that a journalist's physical appearance is being scrutinized for no reason, and that it is the primary topic of conversation every time her name comes up. :|

greenspandan
Haha good one Dan T. Also definitely not scrutinizing her appearance..giving compliments bro. this is a common crappy misconception. sexism is still sexism even if you're saying she has NICE boobs. it is not complimentary to a person to constantly have their physical attributes appraised every time they do their job and report something about the team. Stefanskins
If he's been practicing fully then he should be ready This Sunday is a huge game for the future of this franchise I agree WarPath. Its now or never for him and I believe we are going to get similar results as 2012. He looked like he was finally sliding correctly right before he got hurt. What if he took it to the house on a fake pitch right qb bootleg left and gone on his first play!! You are correct not just the players and coaches but the whole franchise and fanatics need this! I think the rest of the league and their fans who pray that he is frail, want him just to be another athletic qb, need his 2012 performance to be an aberration so bad that they have all convinced themselves that its true. Like Goebbles said If you tell a lie and repeat it enough. People will come to believe it. I'll go one step further... If you tell a lie and keep repeating it. YOU will come to believe it.... Let's do this thang RG...wooot!! HTTR
LD0506
Try and look at this logically, you start Robert and you have Colt in reserve, that gives you a lot more options. Robert's not 100% and you can call to the bullpen, you're not going to start Colt and rely on Robert as the backup. It's a matter of making the most of resources. Let's see, show me just how ready ya are RG, go out there and light 'em up, you find that you could still use a week or two? Colt starts the 2nd half again and JG gives the mediots a reason later.
