Gregpeck99
Big mistake ... I would wait for Tampa Game after Bye ... but that is why I'm bagging at Publix to pay the rent..
DMVLeGenD
I take everything reported by Diana with a grain of salt. That being said, if the report is true, I'm going to be really excited to see him back on the field. I was hoping that they would hold him out until the TB game so there would be no questions he's 100% healthy, but if the doctors and coaching are sure that he's ready, then who am I to talk? ThomasRoane
And I sincerely hope those against this aren't against it because you actually think Colt is some answer or don't going like thatl. That's silly Robert has the most talent. Just look at the arm strength. As Trevor Matich said though the team needs to be able to evaluate him at 100%. So hopefully, he's at 100% physically. Then there's the whole deal about getting ready to play a football game. Big difference from just warming up. DY said he missed a few throws. I'd personally rather have RGIII wait till after the bye week and come back vs Tampa. Then the team could have the rest of the season to give him a fair evaluation. I truly hope he is the Franchise QB we've been looking for. If not I don't think that guy exists on the roster right now and that means we'd be back to starting over. StephenDavis
Yesssssss. He must be 100%. Holding him out any longer would be pointless. Now that he's ready it's time for him to get back in there and improve.

NoCalMike
Well I think according to the original injury timeline given, the Dallas game would have been Week 6 of the 4-6 weeks recovery time. So they are already 1 week past that by holding him out util this Sunday.
RedskinsFanInSanAntonio
And I sincerely hope those against this aren't against it because you actually think Colt is some answer or don't going like thatl. That's silly If it ain't broke don't fix it, and Colt has all the confidence is world right now I bet. I would prefer RG3 to be back after the bye week at home in a comfortable environment, but if beating bad teams will get his confidence going then forsure I'm all for it! hail2skins
Watch RG3 suck against the Vikes and then we'll have endure two weeks of people clamoring to bring Colt back in!

NoCalMike
If he is 100% healthy, then he can't be more than 100% healthy for the Bucs. Also, he is replacing a QB who has only practiced with the starters for a week. It's not the same situation had he been replacing Kirk Cousins (assuming Cousins had led the team to wins.....) respectgibbs
Great, all we need is the coddlers having more excuses for RG3. RG3 is healthy to play, just like he was healthy week 1 last year, but it doesn't matter. People baby RG3 and think he needs extra time. So let's give it to him, so when he comes out again as an average QB, people will have NO EXCUSES. Just start him after the bye. This isn't about his health (he's clearly fine to go), this is about not giving him any excuses.

PigskinRedskin
I have a good feeling with Griffin coming back. Colt is like the "cheaper" version of Griffin (no offense to McCoy and his abilities), so if they can draw up similar plays from the Dallas game, Griffin should be able to pull out some good drives and can hit DJax in stride a little better. Vikings have a stout front 7 on defense, so need to make sure Griffin has someone to dump it off when the blitzes are rushing in.
skinsmania123
I think this is the "safest" game to bring him back in and I like the decision. The Vikings have had their struggles just like us but clearly but we go in with the momentum. And if you remember McCoy was not anything special in the first half against Dallass, but the great D play and the ST's really helped him which allowed him to settle in and get into the flow in the second half. I think we might see the same scenario with RG3. I sure would not want to see RG3 come back say against the Eagles, or the Niners. So let's just say the Skin's win in another full team effort. RG3 goes into the bye with his confidence intact and comes back and the Skins plays against another mediocre team. These are both great games for him to get his feet wet and for the whole group to continue to play as a team and gain more confidence and momentum. I like the decision if it is true. Only excuses, how could we be so blind Go play in traffic son Now CBS Washington is reporting it but they're just posting what Dianna is tweeting as their source. Now this will be everywhere before Gruden even has a chance. Also, another one of her tweets: Redskins player via text: "We are proud of Colt. The guy can play, but we are ready to rally around 10. We believe in him" That one I do like however.

Bonez3
this will either be the greatest decision ever by Jay Gruden and the doctors...or it will come back to bite them in the butt BIG TIME. In other news, when you flip a coin it's either gonna come up heads or tails. But seriously, it's not a matter of blame if it goes right or wrong. If you're ready than you go. Rufus T Firefly
I'd have rather given him the extra 2 weeks to fully heal, rather than 1 extra game. Plus a weaker defense and a home crowd to come back for. Oh well, if he's back let's hope he hits the ground running.
