Why is clown shoe TONY WYLLIE still representing this team?

This guy just embarrassed our franchise after a great win with that "NO MEANS NO" awkward outburst on national television.

He's notorious for being a complete dick and holding press passes hostage.

For a PR guy, he sure is clueless on providing a positive image for this franchise. He basically personifies the ineptitude of Redskins PR failures and the "Snyder-like", pompous attitude.

WIthout a full understanding of the facts and what is supposed to happen...I will not judge him too harshly.  Unfortunate timing with the camera, but if that is what he is required to do...get everybody where they are supposed to be for the post game stuff...he was just doing his job.  Sounds like he had already told them no, and that is why he responded back so forcefully when they tried to get an interview anyway.

That twitter debacle was on his watch too. Probably his own idea. Also his handling of the Shanahan drama at the end of the season was piss poor. Granted that situation was a hard one to manage but piss poor nonetheless. We can do WAY better with Snyders budget.

The only mystery that can match why Haslett excels calling a defense against Dallas and struggles against most of the other teams in the league is why with Dan Snyders Wallet and willingness to spend.... How in the world do we not have one of the best front offices in the league top to bottom.

I just don't know who he thinks he is pulling a player around like that. Kudos to Colt, I would've pushed that dude to the ground and told him to chill the **** out.

Maybe he felt like Colt wasn't listening to him?  I dunno...Wyllie has had his share of gaffes but this may be much ado about nothing.  You wonder how many times something like that happens and we just don't see it.  Everybody wanted a piece of Colt after the game, and there does have to be some semblance of control and order.  Contracts may come into play on how things have to be done.

Wyllie serves as senior advisor to the principal owner on all issues related to public perception of the franchise. He is responsible for shaping the team image through all public contacts and publicity generation. He serves as the liaison between the local and national media and the Skins’ ownership, front office, coaches and players. Wyllie oversees the coordination of all interviews for the club and serves as the team spokesman.

Wyllie's job description per Redskins.com. I guess "oversees the coordination of all interviews for the club" supercedes his other roles such as "responsible for shaping the team image through all public contacts and publicity generation." Then again it doesn't say shaping a POSITIVE image so I guess he's safe - yeah.

Just about every team spends up to the salary cap, so that doesn't mean anything.  Yes, Dan has shown willingness to spend a lot on head coaches.  Other than that, he's a total cheapskate.

Here, have some expired airline peanuts and World Cup beer.

There may be a clue to the answer within the question.

Dude has always treated me & my wife great when we see him at out of town games. He gave us pregame field passes both times we saw him in the STL hotel where the Skins were staying. The second time he was headed out the door to go to his Mom's house, stopped, went back to his hotel room, and came back with a handful of passes for us.

When we saw him on the sideline the next day we made sure we went over to thank him. He then proceeded to tell us to hang tight for a minute while he want over and whispered something to Dan Snyder. Snyder then turned back towards us to wave & say thanks.

Pretty cool of Tony to take time out of the pregame hoopla to do that.
