Johns Bass
I think four keys may be about three too many keys to focus on. Key 1 - Don't find a way to lose to a team that squeaked by the Jags by two points last week. At home.
seln2468
My four keys to the game are not much different! They are: 1. Offense 2. Defense 3. Special Team 4. Enthusiasm None of which this team has.

Acworth skins fan
I think we should try out Colt McCoy. Reason being that Kirk is going to want to try and start somewhere, don't believe it will be here, and we need to see if Colt is a viable back up. Also keys are run run run and stop run! goskins10
Hey Gibbs had a rough start also give it time he is tough Normally i would be with you. And trust me, if they turn it around I will be glad to say i was wrong. I would truly like nothing better. But during Joe Gibbs 1, the organization was run properly with a Owner who stayed out of stuff, and a competent GM who picked his HC (he bypassed several much better qualified candidates because he want Joe, period. More importantly, Joe then picked his staff. Bobby and Mr. Cooke let him pick his staff and play the kind of football he wanted to play. This time around is just took ugh like the last 20 yrs for me. I was willing to give it a chance. But nothing suggests to me much is going to change unless a few major things change, and oddly enough I am not including firing Jay as one of those. I spelled them out somewhere else So i will do so only briefly here: 1. Jay did not get to pick his staff. Too many left overs from a 3013 team are still here - Primary amount them is Jim Haslett. He has never fielded a top 10 def as a DC in his entire NFL career. 2. Bruce Allen has already failed in Oakland and Tampa (he actually ruined that team and a good start left from Tony Dungy.) 3. Dan Snyder just can't believe we are more than a few players from a winning franchise. We just are not there. WE have had problems at Oline for 5, 6, 8 years? Ever since Chris Samuals and Jan Jansen were broken up. And Safety has been a disaster since Sean Taylor died. As a franchise we need to move on from that. it sucks, but it's over. Lets get some studs in here. 4. We can't play STs. That speaks volumes to your depth. You now why Seattle (and I hate them almost as much as dallast) wins? Their depth and they play STs. Last year they gave up 7 yds on punt returns - ALL YEAR!! WE play on al one field and give the other team a short filed and this too has been going on for years! 5. While I like Jay, he needs to either start running the ball more, or give the play calling to Sean. He bails on the run game way too early. And we just don;t have a QB right now (meaning Cousins) that can handle that kind of load/pressure. I could go on about the things that are still broken and have no signs of changing but I will leave it there. Again, I hope I am wrong a we go on a tear. But for right now I just do not see it. HTTR!! let's hope we beat TN, or the season is truly over.

Canadianfanforlife
I'm not expecting a win today. I'm expecting to see more of the same kind of futility that has plagued us over the last 15 games. However, I do hope we play like I know we can. I hope we play with tenacity & urgency. Win or lose I'll still be a Redskins fan. It's not too late for some of you younger fans, but for me it is....I'm hooked. I wouldn't know how to get out even if I wanted to. Anyways good luck to the team today & as always....HTTR!!!
goskins10
Please don't misunderstand my unhappiness with the team for looking for another team. Someone recently asked me if I ever thought about not changing teams but picking a second team root for. My immediate answer was NO! I have said more than once, the only reason there are 31 other teams is to provide the Redskins someone to play. I am just tired of getting excited and ready for a game, truly believing we can win, only to have my heart ripped out. Burgundy and Gold for life!!!! HTTR!!!! Johns Bass
Luck is out - Their #1 QB & #1 RB are out. Nobody should lose to Charlie Whitehurst. Penalty should be getting kicked out of the NFL if they do.
