Hitman56
Al Michaels just said that Sun Devil Stadium was home of Arizona State and did not mention the Cardinals. No respect.

PCS
Warning: Obligatory and obvious shot on Arizona coming right up Considering the the kind of team the Pro Arizona team has been and is putting out on the field thesed days, tickets should be free for the Cardinals games. Actually, maybe they should pay the fans to attend.
bubba9497
I think it was probably more to do with the fact Michaels is an ASU grad.
Mickalino
What's really funny is this is clearly a "miami crowd". If anyone was supposed to have a home-field advantage, it was supposed to be the Chargers, at least due to proximity, yet it's the Miami fans who abound here, as you can see from the cheers when Miami gets the big plays. gridironmike
I want a freebie in DC to make up for that ugly loss to KC when we were experimenting with Marty Ball.
gillherb
you are right that arizona is pathetic in general but at this moment they have more dignity than the skins, beating the 49ers who beat the bucs who kicked the S H I T out of us (i know for sure since i was at the game)
PCS
Going to have to do more than beat a couple of good teams in order to even think about using Arizona and dignity in the same sentence.
Mickalino
Originally posted by The Angry Buddha WOW-- admission is FREE. Yea, free admission and they STILL came 20,000 seats away from filling the stadium. Now if they offered FREE BEER instead of free admission, we'd be talkin about a capacity crowd

redman
All of the proceeds from the game (I guess that means concessions and TV revenue) will go to the fire victims relief fund in S.D. The fires are an absolute mess out here guys.

PCS
 Sigh, here I am having all kinds of fun with this Arizona thing and forgetting why it's being done in the first place. :shot: :gus: Take care out there now Redman. Looks pretty damned ugly out there. Very cool about the proceeds by the way.
Symbol
Originally posted by The Angry Buddha WOW-- admission is FREE. A couple of friends of mine, 49er fans, just got back from there. They had to leave or they would have stayed for the free game.
TD_washingtonredskins
I love how Michaels always gives his two cents about the spread and the over/under. When Mare missed the FG that would have put the Dolphins up 29-10 he goes: "Whoa! With the important number at 38, that was a big miss...keeping the total at 36." rdsknbill
Is it me or is Madden starting to mindlessly babble like his former partner Summerall.

You mean in contrast to Maryland, aka God's Country? It's a big, diverse state so it's got big, diverse problems. I'm more po'ed at the politicians in CA than at Mother Nature (albeit aided by some fire bugs).
