Two things I didn't understand. First off, why Trimble is giving up the ball late when so many others are struggling. The second is, when you are struggling offensively, why sit your best offensive post player for defensive purposes. I understand that the last few minutes, but why not put Stone in more often earlier in the 2nd half to give that spark.

Turgeon isn't even in the same universe as Gary as a coach.

With this team Gary would make the Final Four. Turgeon will lose in the round of 32.

Kind of my feelings also.

Turgeon is an A+ recruiter, but X's and O's he's not in GW's league. GW would not have even recruited some of these kids to be fair. He wanted kids that would stay in the program at least 3 years. The world of NCAA basketball has changed, GW didn't want to change with it.

Guess it's gonna be Lefty 2.0.

...though I think Lefty was a better game coach than he got credit for.

http://www.csnmidatlantic.com/blog/maryland-talk/maryland-gets-commitment-3-star-florida-native

Thompson, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., stands 6-2 and weighs in at 260 pounds. Rivals.com rates him as the 46th-best defensive tackle in the country and the 85th-best player in the state.

He helps to fill a major need for Maryland, which is losing a lot of talent on the defensive line. Quinton Jefferson has declared for the NFL Draft, opening his spot on the interior. Junior Yannick Ngakoue, an outside rusher, is also headed to the draft.

Maryland receives commitment from Florida running back LaDerrien Wilson

Maryland added another commitment its 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday night in three-star Florida running back LaDerrien Wilson.

Wilson, a 5-foot-10, 205-pound power back who played at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Fla., becomes the third player to commit to Maryland since first-year head coach DJ Durkin took over seven weeks ago. His pledge comes just two days after Maryland’s 2016 class suffered a serious blow with local stars Dwayne Haskins Jr. and Keandre Jones flipping their commitments to Ohio State.

Wilson is a former Virginia commit who has ties to the staff of former Cavaliers’ Coach Mike London, who stepped down in Charlottesville in late November before Durkin hired him as associate head coach in early December.

Stripes DEFINATELY leaning green.

Carter was FOULED on the 3 with no call. Ram got called for a foul after blocking a 3 cleanly with no body contact.

More importantly, MD playing like complete dog ****.

MD doesn't understand offense other than chucking three's.  Turgeon is a lousy coach or the players don't listen to his offensive strategy.

Announcers clowning MD because they are too stupid to work the ball inside.
