nonniey
What CBS's is going to try with this new TV show; you are going to need the really die hard Trekkers to make it successful. There's a big portion of those Trekkers who despise the Abbrams movies. .... No it is the die hard Next Generation fans that despise the Abrams movies but they're not real Trekkers anyway. Metalhead
Or there are some of us who are big fans of the original series and see how unfaithful JJ Trek is to the characters and the overall essence of star trek. Exactly. There are fans from all series and movies that dislike the JJ films. Hell, many people and critics dislike his movies for what they are - spectacle and style with no substance or intelligence.

Riggo-toni
Saudi Prince Bandar was speaking with George W Bush one day, and mentioned howuch his son loves Star Trek. "There's just one thing he doesn't understand...why are there never any Arabs on the show?" GWB smiled. "That's because it takes place in the future."

Other then that religion has been completely left out. I'd rather they just get back to the science of star trek Edited June 23, 2016 by Xameil
