Sapp vs Strahan and the HOF

There's been a lot of discussion about this lately, not sure if anyone has been following but a couple times in the last few weeks Sapp has made comments about how he doens't think Strahan deserves to be in the HOF.

Here's s link to the quotes that kicked this whole thing off: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/01/warren-sapp-michael-strahan-hall-of-fame/

and the latest quotes for anyone interested: http://nfldraftdiamonds.com/warren-sapp-tells-michael-strahan-pick-place-will-meet/

Curious to get opinions outside of the Giants MB where obviously everyone is biased, do you folks think Strahan deserves to be in the hall?

Strahan is definitely a Hall of Famer in my opinion. Sapp sounds so petty and jealous that it's embarrasing. Hating on a guy just because he is a bigger crossover media star and because he didn't have to file bankruptcy and sell his house and Super Bowl ring.

I think there is more to it than that. I think Sapp is saying these things to sway the voters into electing Brooks and Dungy.

I don't think there is any question Brooks gets in. I don't think Dungy should get in though.

Strahan definitely deserves to get in the HOF.

Andre Reed got in. Interesting. I can't necessarily say he isn't deserving, but when did he first become eligible? It seems like he got in way quicker then Monk did even though they were both thrown around as WR's that were merely "numbers on the stat sheets"

Reed deserves to be in, but not before Tim Brown. It's a joke that Brown isn't in. By the way, Reed put up great numbers, despite the Bills running the ball 51% of the time he played.

Agreed. Here is a good article on that ..

Next year, Harrison will likely get the nod over Brown.

I think it was those 10 catches he had for us that put him over the top.
