You just knew the universe wouldn't stand for that whole mess and at some point Mara was going to get his. But knowing Mara and Goodell, they will rinse their hands of it. Give the people some free merchandise signed by Eli, some free tickets and it goes under the rug. Taylor 36 Posted February 3, 2014 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Snyder and Jones should be planning to meet at Goodell's office door the day that a guilty verdict or plea is delivered, with press in tow to ask him what fines or punishments are coming since the Giants and Eli broke federal law, ripped off the fans that Roger is so intent on giving a good product to, and shamed the shield. The two of them have enough money and power to beat this drum for as long as the like to receive retribution. I doubt anything would happen unless the criminal charges are filed. At which point, Eli and Mara would have much bigger concerns than what Roger Goodell is going to do.
