goskins10
No one should be surprised but it's still disappointing. Yet another young mans life at least temporarily destroyed because he can't make better decisions. I hope he finds someone that can help him. He has so much talent, it's such a shame to waste it. fearlessNelms
Moot point as far as the Skins are concerned. His career was done here anyway.
Veretax
So does this mean we need to draft another TE? Also what Vinny Draftee's are still around? Monty and Golston, and Doughty?
HTTR47
All the tallent in the world with no desire to be anything but a bum. Guess he thought he was the other washington where it is legal. Someone will pic him up for trainning camp.
SWFLSkins
The road to failure is paved with talented guys who have no commitment. ooOOOooo, someone just opened a fortune cookie................... Oh LD is waxing on grasshopper. btw, this also ends the talk of Weed and Reed in two TE sets. lol..

Morrison J
Just a massive waste of talent really. With a good head on his shoulders he could have been a success here. Good riddance though.
Bang
I feel like i have the Snyderatto flu, and just when i think every drip of awfulness has come out of whichever end of me you'd care to imagine.. along comes more. I can't wait until this team is empty of every trace of those years. ~Bang
Taylor 36
He's done. Great, though. Skins are going to need another te. Thank you, Fred. I don't know. As long as Reed can come back healthy, I think we are good with him and Paulsen. Not sure how the "experiment" is doing, or if Gruden will want to continue that, but we may be okay at TE. C.Felix
Shame to throw your career away like that. It's over here in WAS. If Seattle doesn't take a flier it can be over fully. Pete was his college coach.
roanoker
Evidently, FD loves weed more than a professional career. What a waste...
Boss_Hogg
I'd imagine he tried to circumvent the testing some how and that's why he got hit with the 6 games. Didn't test positive so no year, but for interfering in the testing, he gets 6 games. I think that precedent was set with Von Miller. This story claims he failed another test: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24418842/redskins-fred-davis-facing-another-suspension-for-failed-marijuana-test Dude just can't stay off the reefer. Shame to throw your career away like that. It's over here in WAS. If Seattle doesn't take a flier it can be over fully. Pete was his college coach. LOL, Fred would fit in well with Seattle, college coach, legalized weed.

Califan007 The Constipated
So does this mean we need to draft another TE? Also what Vinny Draftee's are still around? Monty and Golston, and Doughty? Jackson and Orakpo, if he resigns (or if they both do...can't remember if Jackson is a free agent or not).

SB17
No one really thought the Redskins were going to re-sign him anyway, did they?
RandyHolt
I thought they might but largely because of what happened to Reed. What was more unthinkable, Fred surviving or Haslett?
RG3Hunna
So this is why he was in Shanahans dog house? Shanny probably already knew about the suspension seeing as though he knew about the T.Jackson suspension prior to them signing him.
Dark Acre
Someone needs to splain to these guys that you just put the pipe down for 10-15 years, and when you retire, you're on Weedy Street for the rest of your life.
