Theismann On Redskins Heading Into 2014

Recommended Posts

Once again we Redskins fans made fools of ourselves by predicting a great season. We should have known by the early reports about Griffin's rift with the Shanahans. Despite his inconsistant play this year, RGIII was only on one side of the ball. The defense was horrible, but the special teams were worse. The bad special teams were a sign of an unprepared team. That of course is a reflection of the coaching staff. Whoever the Skins hire, he is going to have a mountain to climb, AND in four years another coach will have to start from scratch again. Isn't that the pattern? Our only hope rests with Griffin; is he our franchise QB. We'll find out next year.

Improving RGIII's deep ball accuracy will be a good step in the right direction, but running plays should not be overlooked either. I don't think there was enough of a mix of plays during the last season. As a result our offensive efforts seemed to me to be too predictable. Here's hoping for a more successful 2014.

fact check in the spin does stop here: As long as Dan Snyder is the owner, we will never see any success much like the two Joe Gibbs era. the only chance for this team is for it to be sold to Joe Gibbs and Associates.

Hail Skinsfan- The Redskin Fans didn't make fools of ourselves...this team made fools of themselves by not executing and coaches by not making the players accountable. The fans believed in this season after coming off a NFC East title, retaining all but 1 player, and remember we all thought that Cousins would be our QB through the first 4 games in order to get Griff healthy.
