RG3Hunna
Wait let me get this right, we went from wanting Danny Smith fired in 2011-2012 to wanting him to become our head coach in 2014-2015? HAHAHA While we're at it lets bring Steve Spurrier and Vinny Cerrato back too smh lmao
Dark Acre
We don't exactly have the most attractive coaching gig to offer at this point.
Jacoah
We'll end up with Briles. No one else wants to coach for the Dan.
GoSkins561
Did I hallucinate the "Fire Danny Smith!" threads in the past? The difference is, this is the virtual world of Extremeskins where people carry around pitch forks and hand grenades looking to blow up everything and anything that moves. Probos
We'll end up with Briles. No one else wants to coach for the Dan.  I'd rather have Danny Smith.  Actually -- Briles is probably too smart to come here. I don't see it happening. RandyHolt
Outside of Shanahan looting draft picks, enough to make a tear come to even Cerrato's eye, we do have a lot to offer a new coach. Â We have an owner with deep pockets, and someone that has clearly learned some valuable lessons. He is no longer a noob owner. Â We have a QB LT RB and WR that would be welcomed on any team league wide. Â Defense can be reinvented in one year. I have no concerns on defense. Special teams, the same. Â We have new practice facilities, salary cap room, and presumed a fat salary to offer the new coach. Things could be a LOT worse.
RG3Hunna
People actually want Danny Smith to be our head coach? The guy was a HORRIBLE special teams coach so we fire him just to hire him to run the whole freaking team? Please NOOOOOOOOOÂ
Boss_Hogg
Well there's a good chance Smith will be unemployed after this season. Steeler nation is fed up with the special teams play. Just check their message boards, it's almost like 2004-2012 ES but with black and gold. Â I know he's liked by the players and I'm sure he's a good dude but the Skins need to stay far away from Smith.
theTruthTeller
If I'm ever wealthy enough to purchase an NFL team, I'm pretty sure "the players love the guy" will not be the top qualification for hiring a HC unless it's routinely followed by "even though he's a ****."
