Imagine the reaction if the Cowturds hired Zorn after he got fired here and then told him to go out and pick one of his buddies to be GM. I actually think Joe Douglas was a good hire and the Jets should keep him as GM. He's got pedigree working under Ozzie/DeCosta in Baltimore and Roseman in Philly. And he's only had 1 true offseason since he wasn't hired until after the 2019 draft.

Probably because he hasn't blown a double digit lead yet...because I'm not sure if they've lead in a game. Yep, can’t blow a lead if you don’t have a lead

88Comrade2000
Midseason look at the hot seat: 1. Texans- fired their coach 2. Falcons- fired their coach 3. Jets- Adam Gase, come on down. Why are you still coaching? 4. Matt Patricia- a decent finish could save his sorry ass. 5. Mike McCarthy- Well, Jerry admit his mistake and be one and done? 6. Doug Marone- tick, tick. No return in 21. Most of the coaches on the hot seat were holdovers from last year. Only addition is this year's hire of Mike Mccarthy. I don't expect any other coach to be on the hot seat. Warhead36
Jets won't fire Gase. Keeping him cements the #1 pick. If they fire him they might accidentally win a game or two and lose out on Lawrence.

I think they are thinking with covid, it will be hard to do a search for a new coach. So, they give him the gig for next year and then go from there in 22. The team has played a little better since he become interim coach.
88Comrade2000
I wonder if Doug Pederson is on the hot seat. While Philly has made the playoffs since winning the Superbowl and may this year; they have been at best mediocre. Carson may not be guy. Would Philly make a change; especially if they miss the playoffs?
88Comrade2000
Could the Bears Matt Nagy and Broncos Vance Joseph be on the hot seat? Also, will the Broncos hold Elway responsible for failing to find that QB?
Riggo-toni
Cowboys will make Mccarthy fire Nolan, but they won't fire him.

Jaguars - Doug Marine- His misery will be over soon. 3. Lions- Matt Patricia - Another Bellichek coaching line failure. Those 3 are locks. Potential changes: 4. Broncos - Vic Fangio - He's been a failure. He and Elway may both get the boot. 5. Cowboys- Mike Mccarthy- If the Boys Don't go on a little run, will Jerry make a change? 6. Bears - Matt Nagy - If they miss the playoffs; Bears may decide 3 years is enough for Nagy. 7. Eagles - Doug Pederson- Has been .500 Since winning the Superbowl. If they mis the playoffs, will they decide to move On? 8. Chargers - Anthony Lynn- They have their QB now, but will the owner decide he wants someone else coaching the QB? I see 2 coaches that will be on the hot seat in 21. Bengals Zach Taylor has another season like his first 2; they may decide they want someone else to develop Joe. I also think the Vikings Mike Zimmer has another non playoff season; he will be finally done. Edited November 23, 2020 by Rdskns2000
Mr. Sinister
I would instinctively put that Taylor fella up there. Didn't Burrow throw like 30 passes in one half? As far as I'm concerned, that's gross negligent playcalling and refusal to protect your rookie QB.
