jbooma
I noticed when he went inside on a play he would manhandle the OG's. Upshaw was getting some good pressure from the end spot so maybe we use Smith as a DT. He is one of the guys playing his a$$ off but just doesn't have the same ability as he once did. Leonard Washington
i noticed it too. bruce was dominating the DT position. isn't that how kevin green end his career?

jbooma
Imagine a front 4 of Lavar, Smith, Wynn, and Upshaw If we couldn't get 3-4 sacks a game with that then we have some issues.

GB81
Smith has always had a reputation for being below average against the run...
shawn
how many plays you think BS can last at DT? he is only about 280 lbs. and 40 years old.
RTerps2002
I hope you guys arent smoking crack... Bruce Smith can't play the run at end let alone tackle he is one of the weakest links on this team.... He is one of the problems you can blame directly on Snyder
NASMTrainer
No, we don't want him to play DT all game, just on passing downs.
Hitman56
Bledsoe made Bruce look small. He couldn't play DT.
Leonard Washington
i hardly consider bruce as the weakest link on the team, let alone defense. now the lavar, smith, wynn, upshaw line sounds interesting on passing downs. bring in pierce at lb, and we'd be nice and could still play the 3-4. even better bring in jackson to replace lavar and have lavar blitz (which he would probably do anyway). RTerps2002
Bruce Smith is no more than a cheerleader at this point... I am sick and tired of hearing how close he gets to sacks.... Close dosent count
NASMTrainer
I think maybe you have the wrong impression. The only reason I want to move him around is so he will get the 2 sack and then we can bring in Jackson.
Leonard Washington
getting close is better than the qb having all day.
