From Rotoworld: Bryan Kehl And Nick Sundberg Suffer Season Ending Injuries

Redskins LS Nick Sundberg is done for the season with a knee injury.

The Redskins have a borderline-unhealthy affection for Sundberg, using their injured reserve/designated return device on the long snapper in 2012 before signing him to a four-year extension in the offseason. This time, his injury is too severe for the Redskins to keep Sundberg on the roster.

Redskins LB Bryan Kehl suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday's loss.

He'll soon be placed on injured reserve. A special teamer, Kehl had played just four snaps on defense this season. Going on 30, Kehl will be a free agent at season's end.

REAL sorry for Kehl. He's been just about the ONLY guy balling on teams and his play deserved defensive snaps for me. That's probably the last we see of him as s a Redskin.

Sundberg just adds to our woes. Who was the ex-Colt who filled in last year? Interesting fact. Forbath has now missed a FG in his last three starts going back to his first career miss against the Cowboys in last years finale.

Just when you thought we'd put an end to the kicking chaos .....

Hail.

Justin Snow. great minds think alike...

I was hoping we'd keep John Potter still just to make sure, but I know we needed to get Jenkins/Jackson back.

Luke Ingram is a free agent longsnapper.

Ingram, 6-5, 258, was originally signed by Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and was waived on August 1. He was a four-year letterman at Hawaii where he played in 52 games and snapped every PAT, field goal and punt attempt during his career. He never had a bad snap that led to a blocked kick or mishandled placement. He was named the team’s special teams player of the year as a senior and became the 19thplayer in school history to participate in the Senior Bowl.

A native of Mililani, Hawaii, Ingram started at defensive end and tight end as a senior at Mililani High School in O’ahu. His older brother, Jake, was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fifth round of the 2009 draft and also spent time with the Jaguars in 2011.

For the love of god please bring up Nick Williams from the PS to return kicks and punts...

With that said I'm super disappointed about Sundberg.  He's a tremendous player and that's why you never hear his name called.  Feel really bad for Kehl cause he's a damn good dude.

Honestly I have no problem with Forbath. I wince every time we have to kick a field goal - has nothing to do with Forbath and everything to do with our blocking. His first two kicks they were getting pressure and I was so glad they weren't blocked. The one he missed - I was almost positive it was getting blocked. I wouldn't be surprised if him hooking it to the left had at least a little to do with him feeling the pressure coming from the right side. I'm not so sure it wouldn't have been blocked had he kicked it more to the right given how far he missed to the left.

Can't say anything about his other misses - for the first time in several years I missed a few games but I didn't really have a choice.
