TK
September 27, 2013 Redskins Park Executive Vice President/Head Coach Mike Shanahan On the team’s injury report: “The people listed as questionable will be [cornerback Jerome] Murphy, [kicker Kai] Forbath, [linebacker Brandon] Jenkins, [tight end Jordan] Reed and [tight end Fred] Davis. Probable: [wide receiver Leonard] Hankerson, [linebacker Ryan] Kerrigan, and [safety Brandon] Meriweather. We’ll get a chance to work out the questionable guys over at their stadium on Saturday afternoon.” On Forbath’s condition and what he was able to do in practice today: “He did kick today. It went pretty good.” On if Forbath worked on field goals and kickoffs today: “He just did some field goals today.” On if there’s more he needs to see from Forbath before Sunday: “Yeah.” On what signs he’ll look for to determine if Forbath is ready to play: “Well, he kicked, I think, a 48-yarder today. He didn’t try anything farther than that. Tomorrow we’ll try a little bit more to see if there’s any tug on that area. If not, he should be ready to go. If he feels like he can kickoff and take a full stride then he’ll play.” On if the length of the flight is a concern for guys that are battling injuries: “We have a big plane. We actually run these guys up and down the aisle – it’s about 100 yards, something around a 100-yard range – so we’ll get some exercise on the plane [laughing].” On the practice statuses of Davis and Reed: “They were limited. We’ll check them out tomorrow.” On the Raiders’ quarterback situation heading into Sunday: “I can guess what they’re going to do but I don’t know for sure. You just kind of have a little experience, kind of look in the paper if guys will play or not, but I don’t know for sure.”
Koolblue13
Nobody bothered to ask if he should have played in the preseason or if Robert is healthy enough? Wow. I hope Reed is a go. That kid is going to do great things for us. If he and Davis are out, im wondering if we'll go to more of the power game, like some of us are hoping for. More Complete
Doubt Reed plays from the reports I've heard. Maybe next week. Paulson and Paul will have to step up.
mistertim
Why didn't anyone ask about RG3's knee and the rift between the two of them?
Koolblue13
If no Reed and Davis, it might be a blessing in disguise making us have to play more Paulson and Young. Hopefully more Morris.

elkabong82
If both Davis & Reed are out we are in trouble No we aren't because Oakland gives up a ton to WRs.

Hunter_R
Next week is a bye week. I doubt he plays then, either. That's good. The Skins lose everytime he plays.
