NFL.com Robert Griffin III expected to join Redskins' team drills

Recommended Posts

Following the Washington Redskins' preseason opener, coach Mike Shanahan wouldn't publicly commit to increasing Robert Griffin III's practice duties. It sounds like Shanahan was just being coy: Griffin is ready to ramp up his activity.

Mike Jones and Mark Maske of The Washington Post reported Sunday that Griffin is expected to begin to work in 11-on-11 drills at Tuesday's practice. Jones also spoke about the news Monday morning on NFL Network's "NFL AM."

Great to see that RG3 is now once again back in the 11 on 11s I still believe we should hold him out until week 1, however he does need some reps, and to be back with his actual team mates will build even more rapport for this upcoming season.
