The cowboys is a better team than us right now guys. I bad as I hate to admit it. I just don't know what it is. This team has changed physically but need to change mentally!! My dad was saying how he think we would be a better team if we had parcells. Well I could'nt saying nothing to prove him wrong, but skins just get to the playoffs please!! Thats all I ask! I think its an issue with the personnel

The question is... Who is actually doing worse than us right now. Forget about Dallas, their record doesn't show their talent AT ALL.

Dallas will not win the division, and they will not make the playoffs. Mark my words. Hell, they haven't even played anybody yet. Take a look at the records of the teams they've beaten. Out of the four wins they have, those teams total 5 wins!!! FIVE!!! Giants are 2 and 3, the Eagles are 2 and 3, the Jets are 0 and 4, and the Falcons are 1 and 3.

As much as I hate to say it, they could win the division. The Eagles, Giants and Skins all SUCK right now. Not saying they will do anything if they make it to the playoffs but this has got to be one of the worst divisions in football.

True Skin-N-NY.

If we could simply get some sort of coaching improvement before this gets totally out of control, I think we could win the division and make the playoffs.

If we continue to commit stupid penalties and use these idiotic gameplans we will have yet another miserable season.

So, AkaD, the Cowboys are overrated because they haven't beaten "anybody," yet the Redskins can easily turn things around -- and quickly -- and still win the division, despite losing to the Giants, Eagles, etc -- teams the Cowboys have beaten.

What am I missing?

Interesting Dale. But that's where having a coach like Parcells comes into play. He knows how to win the close ones. On the other hand, up until today we, in which we truely got beat, hadn't figured out how not to beat ourselves. And IMHO that's worse than actually getting beat by a better team.

Here is the difference between the Skins/Cowboys......

The Cowboys while severely lacking in talent, have a coaching staff in place that will make sure they get the most out of each and every player on the team. The Cowboys may not have the best talent at every position, but they definately all KNOW WHAT TO DO on every single down. They are well coached and well prepared.

Skins: first off this, "aww sucks" attitude from Spurrier needs to f'n go YESTERDAY. It is so tiresome to see him shrug his shoulders and grin. I am tired of it. The Skins have talent like a mutha, but can't do anything with it. Once the Skins went up 13-7 and had all the momentum, they should have been able to go for the kill, but nooooooooooooo they find a way to f it all up.....AGAIN.

Dude there are 10 frickin games left, who knows what will happen

the skins could just as easily win this division as any.

Chalk the cowboys start up to parcells,i believe they will come tumbling down to eath starting next week vs the titans.

The skins must win the next couple of games, and they are

very winnable,5-3 at mid season sounds great to me.

Does spurrier even talks to his assistant coaches? OL coach, Defense cooridinator, ST coach, anyone?? Spurrier do have to take little responsiblitly and talk crap to these coaches! I don;t know how he is in practice or anything, but in press conferences he seems EASY! Its like he don't want to hurt anyone feelings. Speak up spurrier!! This ain't college no more. You got to let the personnel and these coaches know who is boss.

Well, look at it this way Dale. The Cowboys just happened to get their lucky wins against division opponents. We did not. We played both of those games exactly the same as the Cowboys did, just with different results. The Cowboys played the Giants into overtime and went straight down the field in OT to score on their first drive. The very next week, the Giants did that to us. If we had played them first, i'd be willing to bet that the Giants wouldn't of let that happen to them twice against them too.

Against the Eagles, we fell two points shy of going to OT. The Eagles did the same exact thing today. The only difference is it's F'n Dallas man. They have to be the all time luckiest team EVER!!!!

Hahahaha!!!! Just wait until they play a truly talented team. Mark my words, they'll look like the team they really are.

But the season is still young, and the Cowgirls haven't played a good team yet. The reason they beat the Eagles is they did what we were SUPPOSED TO DO. THROW DEEP!!! We should of put at least 35 points on the board against the Eagles defense. Spurrier decided to throw short passes and run up the F'n middle. I have to say, I was completely dumbfounded as to where he got that sorry ass game plan. He called plays that played to their strengths!! What a moron!! I still get fired up just thinking about that horrible game.

the cowboys have had one PANSY A$$ schedule and it doesnt get any harder next week with detroit. they probably finish the year with cincy, houston, and chicage, jeez. ive decided i want nothing more this year than to beat the living daylights out of them.

ill give them this. they are making good with what they are given, even if its involved alot of luck and the other team playing badly. the more they win the more i hate them. in fact i dont think ive ever hated them more during my short life... sigh.:dallasuck

What Giants game were you watching?

Dallas received the ball first in overtime, punted, then the Giants got the ball and punted (after a three and out I believe), and Dallas got it back and marched down the field and kicked the game-winning field goal in OT.

In Dallas' first OT possession they marched down the field but got stopped at the 40 yard line. Quincy was sacked, fumbled, recovered back near midfield from which they had to punt.

And recall the team had a 12 point lead entering the 4th quarter. Certainly the end of the game involved luck, but the Cowboys choked away the game as much as the Giants did by letting them back in it.

Remember prior to that game, Parcells was 49-0 in games in which his team held a 12 or more point lead entering the fourth quarter.

And considering all your victories have been by three or fewer points, I fail to see how the "luck" card can't be played on you as well.

Entering the season Dallas had one of the toughest schedules in the league. Several outlets suggested it was actually the second-toughest in the league.

The Giants, Falcons, Jets and Eagles were all playoff teams last season after all. Can't do anything about the Jets' and Eagles' quarterbacks going down.

And we've just about played the exact same schedules up to this point, remember, considering we've played four common opponents. Though the Tampa game was certainly harder than anything we've faced.

I'm still trying to figure out how Dallas is "severely" lacking in talent.

We have a fine WR trio.

We have two very good FBs.

We may have the best pair of TEs in the NFC East.

We have a solid (not spectacular) OL. We were actually the first team to have over 100 yards rushing against the Eagles.

We have a deep and solid (again not spectacular)DL.

We have good LBs.

We have a heckuva secondary.

The only areas where we are lacking are:

QB......But QC is playing well. Maybe, he's a player afterall?

RB.......This is our only "glaring" weakness IMO.

Our special teams coverage unit can use a bit of work.

Listen, I've watched nearly every Redskin game this year (except today's). I think your talent rivals nearly any team in the league.

But I don't think you're a disciplined team. I see stupid penalties constantly. Maybe that'll be corrected.

Umm.......... Dale, once again you misunderstood. Did I say the Skins weren't lucky? We were very lucky to get every damn win we have! All I was saying, was Dallas hasn't had the "bad" luck that we've been getting with the "close" losses. We could easily be 4 and 1 right now.

And sure Biz, your players in all those positions have been doing well. In my opinion though, it's because they haven't played anyone yet. We will know for sure soon enough though, so why don't we all just drop the speculation because it's way too early to start talking smack anyway.

Oh, by the way... :dallasuck

Hahahaha!!

I wouldn't count Detroit out of that one just yet!!

I sure hope we go into Buffalo and win, but when we've played desperate teams, (Eagles, Tampa, Giants) we've lost. Buffalo is every bit as desperate and definitely more dangerous than the Giants and Eagles. I surely can't predict a win with complete confidence, but I damn sure want one.

Good lord. Would you all get off of Parcels's d*ck? They've played 5 games against nobody teams man!! Jeez. Parcells isn't the one out there playing. Parcells doesn't lose games he should win? Hahahaha!! I could name over a dozen man!! Whatever. Detroit is desperate and Dallas has always been a team to take a week off when they're too confident and think they're all that. I've already placed my bet. You? lol.

After watching the Eagles-Cowboy game, I noticed also how well the Cowboy players tackle. They have smaller linebackers, but those linebackers sworm to the ball and are very good tacklers.

Also, the one thing that jumped at me is how well the DL generates pressure. L' glover is a semi-Stud, and some of the other guys are journeyman. But for the life of me they generate pressure unlike the Redskins can. This makes up for their secondary that's gaining confidence after each game. You could see the confidence growing against the eagles and that #1 draft pick Newman is gonna be okay. With him and roy Williams in the secondary, it's gonna only get better. Also, the DC was sending Roy Williams on blitzes that were atrocious. Why can't we generate blitz packages from our safetys and DL like that, I know we have the players for it..

I'm still scratching my head about our defense and maybe the play calling. Between Lavar, Champ, Smoot, Terrell, Trotter, Armstead and Bowen,Bruce and the journeyman DL. It should'nt be any reason why we cannot generate constant pressure. It shames me to constantly watch lesser defenses coming on all out blitzes and generating constant pressure and we cannot or chose not to do so.

Go Figure...
