I felt the same about the blonde goldilocks from Ozark. A show that was recommended to me by a friend that has great ratings on IMDB and rotten tomatoes is Sweet Tooth. I've watched the first 4 seasons of it so far, not sure how well it would fit in CW, which I always saw as being more about comic book heroes than science fiction. It's from Mike Flanagan (Hill House and Bly Manor), so it "feels" kind of the same but is certainly different.
