Dont get me wrong...I would be VERY happy with this draft...but I feel like I missed out on CB Pierre Desir and CB Stanly Jean Babtiste...other than that, if the Redskins came away with this haul, Id be ecstatic!

34 --DT LOUIS NIX III --NOTRE DAME

66 --- ILB CHRISTIAN JONES--- FLORIDA STATE

98 --- G ANTHONY STEEN--- ALABAMA

130 --- DT JUSTIN ELLIS--- LOUISIANA TECH

162 --- WR RYAN GRANT--- TULANE

194 --- RB DRI ARCHER--- KENT STATE

Going with Ellis is probably overkill since Nix fell to me. And I didn't realize that Cody Hoffman was still on the board when I picked in the 7th. Otherwise I would have gone with him over Archer.

Fun to play with but I don't like the overall score calculation. I understand if someone's big-board is different than mine so I'm not upset at the individual ratings of A, B, C...  What I dislike is it rates you higher for the positions it thinks you need.  And right now it says the skins 2nd round pick should be an ILB, CB, or DE.  Well, a 4-3 DE is a different player than a 3-4 DE.  Plus, it's not up-to-date.  The skins prioroty now is certainly not CB as of the DeAngelo Hall signing.  Also, It dings you for trading next years' picks.  Well, if this was a GM and not a Draft score I would agree.  But to land a C.J. Mosely with the 21st pick by trading away next years' 1st rounder I think is a good trade and should improve the overall score, not lower it.

My draft Rank 9:

Your score is: 4525 (Drafting Ability: B+, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: C-)

Your Picks:

Round 1 Pick 21 (G.B.): C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama (A)

Round 2 Pick 12 (STL): Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State (A)

Round 3 Pick 2: Jimmie Ward, SS, Northern Illinois (A)

Round 3 Pick 11 (STL): DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State (A-)

Round 4 Pick 5 (JAX): Marcus Martin, C, Southern California (A)

Round 5 Pick 2: Anthony Steen, OG, Alabama (A)

Round 5 Pick 16 (CHI): Antone Exum, CB, Virginia Tech (A-)

Round 6 Pick 15 (CHI): Ed Stinson, DE, Alabama (A-)

Round 6 Pick 20 (ARI): Ryan Carrethers, DT, Arkansas State ( B)

Round 7 Pick 18 (NYJ): Jeff Janis, WR, Saginaw Valley (A-)

Your Future Picks:

2016 Round 1 Pick

Then I played the Titans and the computer ranked Washington as 6th with a score of 4599

Round 3 Pick 2 (66) Redskins: Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State

Round 3 Pick 5 (69) (NYJ) Redskins: Yawin Smallwood, ILB, Connecticut

Round 3 Pick 11 (75) (STL) Redskins: Robert Herron, WR, Wyoming

Round 3 Pick 27 (91) (N.O.) Redskins: Terrance Mitchell, CB, Oregon

Round 3 Pick 32 (96) (MINN) Redskins: Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State

Round 4 Pick 2 (98) Redskins: Chris Watt, OG, Notre Dame

Round 4 Pick 4 (100) (T.B.) Redskins: James Hurst, OT, North Carolina

Round 4 Pick 13 (109) (NYG) Redskins: Kenny Ladler, FS, Vanderbilt

Round 5 Pick 8 (136) (MINN) Redskins: Marcus Martin, C, Southern California

Round 7 Pick 2 (194) Redskins: Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma

See what I mean?  Scott Crichton?  Really?  Too small to play DE in our 3-4 and sort of duplicates the role of Jenkins from last years draft.  Plus, the guy has a fairly low score according to NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/scott-crichton?id=2543639.  Maybe Smallwood would see some playing time this season but the rest are typically benchers for this and maybe next season.

My draft has potentially 4 to 6 starters this season.  Man, I can't wait for the draft and Free Agency to be over.

Any chance Benjamin drops past the FIRST round? I saw someone got him in the third.. if he is around I think we have to take him to give our offense some real firepower.

I don't care for trying to "score high" and get all the points in this draft game since it's so unrealistic with trades, so I just like seeing names that I think are sleepers on my list.

If anyone is interested, FanSpeak actually set up a premium version in addition to their free beta version. You can choose 1 of 3 draft boards (Walter, Drafttek, FanSpeak) and it includes trades ... BUT the trades are actually realistic. Not that garbage in the other simulator. Here's my first draft:

Pick 34 came up ... Jax offered 2 (39) and 4 (101)

Pick 66 came up and Min offered 3 (72) and 5 (136)

2: Calvin Pryor, FS Louisville

3: Martavis Bryant, WR Clemson

4: Will Sutton, DT ASU

4: Keith McGill, CB Utah

5: Yawin Smallwood, ILB UConn

5: Russell Bodine, C UNC

6: DeAnthony Thomas, RB Oregon

7: Kirby Van der Kamp, P Iowa State

All in all, that was awesome. Can't see Pryor falling past pick 23 in the 1st round but ... I like this format a LOT.

I ran it with a different draft board. I just traded back to 40 with Min and got the last pick in the 3rd (64) ... and I had to choose between WR Mike Evans and FS Calvin Pryor at 40. WTF! I'd trade next year's 1st for the 41st pick and take the other guy if that were legitimately the choices come draft day.

Only one trade.  This of course assumes we are trading Kirk Cousins either this year or next with the McCarron pick

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 3 (CLE): C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 2: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (A)
Round 3 Pick 19 (CLE): Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State (A)

Hypothetical trade. Waited til 2nd round ... saw that Top 4 QBs (Bortles, Manziel, Carr, Bridgewater) were gone ... traded Cousins (in this case, doesn't exist in system so a future 1st) to Minnesota for their 2nd (40).

*Trade: Cousins to Minnesota for 2(40)

*Trade: 2(34) to TEN for 2(42), 4(109), 5(139)

2(40): CJ Mosely, ILB Alabama

2(42): Marquise Lee, WR USC

3(66): Morgan Moses, OT UVA

4(98): Kelcy Quarles, DT South Carolina

4(109): Dion Bailey, FS USC

5(130): Bryan Stork, C FSU

5(139): Aaron Murray, QB Georgia

6(162): Phillip Gaines, CB Rice

7(194): Colt Lyerla, TE Oregon
