I know taking WRs with the first two picks would cause some serious face-palms, but imagine how revamped this WR corps would be with the addition of Metcalf AND Brown! Wilson would be in the mix to start at ILB as would Lindstrom at Guard. I doubled down on QBs in the middle rounds as they presented decent value and we all know the Redskins QB situation, so I thought that was a wise move. Not being able to grab an edge rusher to offset the likely loss of Preston Smith would hurt, but then again, that is what FA is for.

I tried drafting Coors light with the first pick and then taking a **** on the fanbase for the next 6 rounds, you know, to try and make it as realistic as possible? 

 

But for some reason those weren't options yet.  Maybe they'll update it closer to draft day.

I am a bit obsessed with addressing the WR position in this draft. I would be ecstatic if the Redskins were able to come away with Metcalf and a burner like Isabella who could also be a quality returner for this team. I tried to also address the Safety issue this team has and Thompson is one of the top prospects and Thornhill was terrific value in the third round. I would think Pierschbacher could push for the starting gig at OG. Nabbing QB Stidham in the fifth was a coup and could be a nice developmental player. Warring at TE is raw player, but at  6'5" 250 lbs, has the physical attributes to potentially develop into a quality player at the NFL level.

-I think this site needs to upgrade the grading they have on Hockenson. I did a trade back to pick 23, and feel that we would be lucky to have him still on the board there, and that gets a C+. WTH

 

-I think this draft would be a home run. Difference maker TE who can do it all. Starting L guard. Two new CB's to add to the mix. Another Bama player added to the front 7. Need that with Preston likely gone. Two new WR's to add to the mix. A developmental QB to be the 3rd guy in that room, and a RB to see if he can make the team.

 

-Give me Landon Collins in FA to fix the safety situation. Bring in another Vet QB to battle with Colt for the starting roll, maybe Dalton somehow.
