jkam
They are both listed as questionable, not doubtful and I thought I heard earlier in the week that Vincent would try to play. Have either practiced? I'm not yet convinced that neither will play.
laurent
Vincent has a bad hamstring strain and Taylor is still hobbled by hist foot injury. If those guys do in fact play I would test them early and often to see how well they can move with their injuries.
terpfan
taylor is out. vincet is questionable and will be re-evaluated tommorow morning. he practiced today...
bulldog
actually this is a win/win situation for the Redskins. if Taylor and Vincent try to play but are not 100% they will get beaten. and if neither plays and the team has 23 year old guys out there starting their second or third NFL game THAT is another big advantage for Spurrier and the offense. Tommy-the-Greek
Coles and Gardner should have an advantage tomorrow either way like Bulldog said. I just hope Ramsey has the time to get the ball to them on deep patterns. Even if Ramsey has to go to short dropbacks and fire the ball quickly Coles should be able to make some big plays. Does anyone know if Jacobs is listed as the number 3 wr and who is the Eagle starting nickle back for tomorrow?
fish
So, if I'm the Eagle-D I'd be trying to put the pressure on PR cuz I know my secondary can't hang and that the Skins protection has be questionable (be it the fault of a young QB holding the ball too long, scheme or O-line play). I'm looking to see if SS counteracts with less people in the pattern. Should be interesting.
redman
I thought I read somewhere that Vincent would play. If so, like bulldog said, that's blood in the water for Spurrier, Ramsey and Coles. He can't be 100%, and a speed WR is the last thing he wants to face with an injured hammy.

Hey, better for us that Ramsey passes to wounded players than healthy players.
slidemankent
My prediction is that we are going to eat the Eagles Secondary for breakfast. But the outcome is still questionable based on the our ability to get a lot of penalties and make stupid mistakes.
codeorama
I'm not sure if Jacobs is listed as the 3rd wr, but Spurrier said earlier in the week he will take on a big role and practice during the week reflected that.
bobzmuda
Fox just announced Vincent and Taylor are out (along with Dawkins). We HAVE to win this game just for our own psyche's. It will be the perfect cure to Norv-itis.
Om
Got a funny feeling Jim Johnson may curve-ball us, today. Rather than all the exotic blitz packages we've seen from Philly for so long, they may well rush 4 the bulk of the time and mix coverages, with a heavy dose of zone stuff. Force young Patrick to read all day, go underneath and have to sustain drives. All of which bodes well for driving between the 20's, which we've been great at so far, but makes operating in the compressed spaces of the red zone all that much more difficult. This would be a GREAT week to take a couple in from long distance ...

And I agree that it would be a great time to take some to to the house from long distance. I also have a feeling that we may see Trung bust one of them out of a draw play, #1 rushing D be damned. NavyDave
They only rush four we will have time to throw because I believe dockery can neutralize the opposing DT and R Thomas will have help to take care of the other but we should wear them down with the run first.
