Agreed, this is getting way out of hand....of course, this flavor of the week is probably getting more attention here b/c we're playing McNabb and Philly this weekend, and folks are worried about how Limblow's comments will affect the game. Just ride it out, Jbooma, I'm sure that some other media bonehead will say something idiotic about a totally different topic and this will just be dust in the wind.

Hey, it's a big story, and by and large, people have maintained a pretty civilized tone, considering the subject matter. Plus, it's Friday, and our minds will turn to things pigskin come noon tomorrow when the college games start. Plus, McNabb IS the guy our favorite team faces Monday ...

I say we keep letting those inclined to discuss this do so (assuming it doesn't get truly yoogly), grit our teeth, and wait out the Rush hour.

I've thought about putting a timer on the Rush threads, but then it occured to me that this is Extremeskins. And where there's no interest threads die in a day. The Rush threads are being discussed and kept alive. If the user community here is going to keep posting in those threads it shouldn't be ok for us to start killing them. Stuff dies here when no one wants to talk about it. As long as Rush threads stay football oriented we're pretty much going to let you guys decide when you don't want them on the front anymore because you'll stop posting in them and no one will care .
