PFT: Suh being sued by Packers (no, seriously) over security deposit

Unfortunately for Suh, he now has another issue to deal with: The Oakland Press reports that Suh is being sued by Gregory and Laura Packer, who claim they rented a home owned by Suh and gave him a security deposit of $100,000, and now that they’ve moved out Suh is refusing to return the security deposit.

The lawsuit says Suh and his sister, who works as Suh’s business manager, violated a Michigan law that says security deposits can’t be more than 1.5 times the monthly rent. (One wonders why the Packers — who have a great surname for a couple in a dispute with Suh — ever agreed to fork over a $100,000 security deposit in the first place.) The lawsuit also accuses Suh of refusing to give back property the Packers left behind when they moved out.

I'm gathering at least two things from this article:

1) Suh just can't seem to stay out of some sort of trouble. That doesn't bode well for his career.

2) $100,000 for a security deposit??!! :yikes: Who has that kind of money, and why wouldn't they just BUY a house with it?

Glad we weren't in position to burn a high first on him. One has to wonder if he will ever get the joke, just seems like a scumbag. Showed it to everyone in a Thanksgiving day showcase game.

Yep, the Haynsworthless 2.0. It's a shame too. So much talent for both of them. Now Albert is almost as fat as Jamarcus Russell and will probably be out of the NFL for good, where he'll be free to pursue his criminal career. Suh isn't far behind.

Off the field, he's quickly becoming Haynesworth 2.0, but it remains to be seen if it spreads to his on-field play and work habits.

Much as I hate the guy, this lawsuit just doesn't smell right. Nobody gives a security deposit of that kind of money for a house in Michigan. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a b.s. case. That said, clearly this dude attracts so many flies because he's a big steaming turd.
