Motor Club of America: Scam or not?

Any of you guys heard about this? Apparently it's some type of referral program for MCA which is similar to AAA, but you get paid for each person you refer. So, you pay $40 for a 2 month membership, and get $80 for every person you sign up after. Seems like a pyramid scheme, but apparently there are boat loads of people making money hand over fist from it. Check it out,

There's tons of videos just like that. I'm not strapped for cash but it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra bucks. What do you guys think?

Legit or scam?

It's the same as Avon.

Stick with AAA.

AAA is legit.

Do you want a sales job ? I have had DirecTv for probably 15 years at this point...I have no interest in selling my buddies on it for profit.

Look forward to losing friends if you go down that road.

Yeah I have AAA also, and am in sales now (Hertz) but was just curious to see if it was legit, just to make a few hundred bucks here and there (student loans suck). But yea it wouldn't be worth losing friends over.

What is it you sell?

I don't know if you're selling anything, it's more like referring people to sign up for MCA. And getting paid double to do so. So I sign up 1 person (they pay $40 for 2 months of membership), well I get $80 for signing them up, and you get paid $6 for every person they sign up. Seems scamish to me. I've never even heard of MCA until now. And they've supposedly been around since 1926. Why don't they even have a Wikipedia page then? Or a legit website? Weird to me.
