The game will be televised by NBC. The league announced last month that the season opener would be held on a Wednesday instead of the traditional Thursday night kickoff in order to avoid a conflict with President Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention the following night. GO COWBOYS! Stomp the Gnats into the ground and rub Mara's nose in it! Hail. *And God DAMN that **** for making me say that!

DeMarco Murray 29
Called this a few weeks back. Everyone said "Green Bay" blah blah blah. The trend continues ... 1 home opener since 2003. Back to back home openers in New York. Looks like the defending champs start the year 0-1.

skinsfansince1988
LOL this is great. Redskins get to finally start off by watching two division rivals beat each other up... I agree and this makes it less likely the Redskins open up with the Eagles, doubt they will have two division games week 1, I really didn't want the Redskins to open up against a division rival for once

December90
For the first time in my life I will actually root for the Cowboys to win the season opener. Maybe they can put a bounty on Mara if he dare to show his ugly face on the sidelines.

We would probably not open up against the AFC North, or the other 2 "wildcard" teams. I bet we open up on the road in Tampa. I am a bit bias though..I would love to go there for opening day LOL
jflow78
I can honestly say, this will be the first season EVER that I will root for the Cowboys and Eagles over the Giants. I hope the Giants lose every game. It's amazing that I, a rabid Dallas hater, have now found an even deeper hatred and until Mara dies or sells the team, I will continue to feel this way. Honestly, Jerry Jones has screwed over a LOT of people (ironically most of them are Dallas fans), but he's never ****** over the team like Mara did. Rot in hell John Mara. We need to give him some nicknames.
HogNose
Yes Mara is an arse clown and has a vendetta against our Skins, but I've built up a healthy lifelong hatred for the damn Cowboys. There is no way in hell I can ever pull for the Cows....never. We will get our revenge when Griffin in his shiny new #3 jersey gets to torch the Giants as Mara looks on. It will be much more satisfying. :point2sky edit: I say #3 jersey because I think that would look pretty good.
aREDSKIN
I can't believe I'm gonna say this.. but.. GO DALLAS. KICK SOME GIANTS ASS! I think many are with you on this one. The old pos MARA has stirred up a hornets nest of hate. Just f the giants.
Big Blue Joe
That sucks. The Giants can beat the Cowboys any day. But for the first game of the season, I really wanted either the Packers, 49ers, or Saints.
Califan007 The Constipated
I don't mind saying it...I hope the Cowboys stop the Giants 12 feet into the turf and win 72-0. *Then they can go back to sucking the rest of the season lol...
Hitman21ST
Go :puke: Cowboys... Why do I have a feeling the NFL is going to schedule us and the Eagles on MNF that first week and hope we get RG3?
88Comrade2000
How about a tie and both teams lose their starting QBs to career ending injuries.
