G.A.C.O.L.B.
that they're the Cleveland Browns, and that since they've been back in the NFL, they've been absolute ****, They've been absolute **** longer than that. Outside of a little run with Schottenheimer in the 80's, the Browns haven't done **** in 60 years. They're the Cubs of the NFL. And Alex Smith needs to man up and go back to San Fran. I doubt that he'll find work anywhere else, given his history (that won't go away, after one good year) I wonder if the Niners are big on Kaepernick. That could explain this game they're playing with Smith.

visionary
https://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefter San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed QB Josh Johnson to a two-year deal through the 2013 season.
The Robert Griffin Experience
Maybe not. That division will certainly be better but their defense is still very good and if they can find a serviceable QB I think they're going to contend again. You can be a VERY good defense and not get turnovers - look at the Steelers last year. And if they don't get so much "offense" from their D, they're screwed. G.A.C.O.L.B.
Surprised no one has posted about Mike Wallace being ****ing delusional. He apparently wants a bigger contract than Larry Fitz. $120 mil or something. I hope people are laughing at him to his face.

Calvin Johnson didn't get a bigger contract than Fitzgerald. Mike Wallace will get somewhere in between DeSean Jackson and Megatron, closer to Jackson. DarrellsMyHero28
Because his 36 year old former center didn't follow him to Denver? Why is that? Its one of many things, though I didn't realize Saturday was that old. I get the whole Elway thing and Harbaugh is a jackass but the Niners are a much better team. Denver is like San Fran light to me: both have really good defenses and young targets on offense but SF seems to be a better team. ---------- Post added March-23rd-2012 at 03:50 PM ---------- You can be a VERY good defense and not get turnovers - look at the Steelers last year. They've had that and still have a fantastic vertical threat in Vernon Davis. He also makes the WRs on the team much better by drawing attention/double coverage. ---------- Post added March-23rd-2012 at 03:51 PM ---------- You can be a VERY good defense and not get turnovers - look at the Steelers last year. Champskins
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter So in one day, Denver now has added two former AFC South tight ends, Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen, as targets for Peyton Manning. Ravens have re-signed free-agent inside linebacker Jameel McClain.

And that would lead me to question Harbaugh. If he landed arguably the greatest QB of all time, who hardly needs an OC, one would think he'd back off and let Peyton work. I mean #18 with that defense, running game and Vernon Davis/Michael Crabtree/Braylon Edwards/Ted Ginn.....wow....No matter what you think of Crabtree/Edwards/Ginn, Manning would make them instantly better. That team would probably be in the conversation as a favorite in the AFC, whereas I think Denver is still a year or two away from being true competitors. Honestly. 49ers should have been in the SB last year with Alex Smith running the show. With #18 healthy (if he really is healthy), they'd be in the SB, no questions asked
