Rambo puts 2 halves together ... throws for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. Smoot intercepts Brady on the Wash. 45 yd. line and runs it back to the 3 yd. line. Then Betts punches it over. TDs receiving: Gardner 1, McCants 2. Canidate and Betts again combine for over 100 yds. rushing. Coles has an off day catching only 7 passes for 95 yds. Skins get charged for only 8 penalties totally 79 yards (Morton returns a punt for a TD, but it is called back on a holding penalty against Bauman). Spurrier complains in AGPC that team made too many mistakes and didn't deliver knock out punch in 3rd quarter.

Redskins can't pick up the blitz and Ramsey is knocked out of the game early in the 3rd quarter. Without much pressure, Brady picks apart the Redskins defense, and Daniel Graham has a career day.

How are they going to score 31 points with Brady in the shape he's in?

Ah silly Pats fan.

You dont realize, in order for Ramsey to be knocked out of a game he'd have to be dead. This guy is as tough as nails.

However guys, it is amazing how much difference a loss makes, last week everyone was picking huge blowouts of the Giants, but now we're picking a close game against the very banged up team. However the Pats are WELL coached and can confuse Ramsey, which is why we'll just run it down their throats.

The Skins hang on to their 17-13 lead until there are 4 minutes left in the 4th, when the knockout punch is delivered, a Trung Canidate 47 yard run for a TD which seals the victory. Trung is over 100 for the day and Betts is over 70. Ramsey is 17-27 for 254 yards and 2 TD's. Coles has 7 catches for 82 yards and a TD. Gardner has 7 for 111. Jacobs catches the other TD on an amazing catch in the corner of the endzone. Ramsey is only sacked 2 times.

Washington 14

New England 13

The Redskins are down 13-0 in the 4th quarter when Ramsey gets hot and leads the Skins on 2 TD drives in the last 8 minutes. New England's defense had been able to thoroughly confuse him until it all of sudden seemed like a switch went on and he was able to torch them. New England was only able to get 2 FGs off of the Redskin's defense but NE's defense returned a Ramsey turnover for a TD.

I think I will have heart failure if we have a fourth straight game like that... I will go the easy route..

this is a pivotal game at 2-1. a win and the skins are right there. a loss and with the next four tough games the team could be on a slide.

things here seem to match up for the Redskins. The Skins are at home, they are healthier, they are coming off a tough loss which has the players under fire from the staff for the penalties and mistakes, etc.............

NE continues to lose players at a fast clip.

their best linebacker Colvin is out for the year. ditto for run stuffer DT Washington. Vrabel is questionable.

Patten the deep threat is out. Brady is nicked up.

Lets hope for one prediction that comes true this Sunday: No personal fouls........especially if its 3rd and 24 for the Pats!

I don't see this game as being easy, but the Skins will perform well enough to avenge their earlier preseason loss. I'll say 24-20 this go around. And then we head into Philly to face an Eagles team who may be winless...................
