Thank you sir. I hope to see a new Posse in Washington here soon, starting with our soon-to-be new FA WR signing, perhaps Garcon. (I don't want Jackson actually)

Easy. HoF was MUCH more exciting. Partly because it was "our" class, and partly because of the wait for Art Monk getting in.

I can't say what RGIII may be is more exciting than what 28/81 were, or how much they mean to the Super Bowl history we have. "4 Minutes". I was there, so that probably helps, too.

Bump this in 15 years, then we'll see.

if you're going to stick with the word excited it has to be this trade. For me the HOF inductions were more emotional, it's a recognition for past accomplishments. Excitement is about what's to come and what the future brings, hard to get truly excited about the past.

This is it exactly for me. Had the question been, what has meant more to you as a Redskins fan, then I'd vote for the HOF, and looking back on things, the team drafting #21 has meant a lot to me, but this move here, I'm more excited about.

Both are a great accomplishment to me.

Though I didn't get to appreciate their careers while they played, it's important to me as a Redskins fan to understand the contributions of 81 and 28. These guys exude class and what this franchise is all about.

But it's our time now. It's time for the fans to be rewarded for their 2 decades worth of loyalty. It's time for those in the 20-35 age group to experience what it's like to have a good football team to cheer for on a year to year basis. This move was for all of us. The haters can't see the pieces we already have in place, and the amount of chips we still have left to push in.

As I've said before, as everyone on ESPN, etc, are saying "Where did the Redskins come from?!?", all we need to do is smile. :)

Well said.

I'm only 27 so my earliest football memories are my Dad and Grandfather goin crazy over the Skins in the late 80s and early 90s. I have really only seen the HOF-ers through NFL films and things like that. And while I'm always interested in learning about the past to better appreciate the present, I feel like I have been waiting all my life as a Redskins fan for what transpired on Friday.

RGIII in DC!

being 21 and a skins fan, i dont really have any strong memories of the us really being a legit contender in my lifetime.

according to wikipedia "Since 1992, the Redskins have made only three postseason appearances and four seasons with a winning record."

jesus, i didnt realize it was that bad. i guess its what you call "selective memory"

well i hope i can proudly remember the next coming years with RG3 and the blossoming of our franchise!

HTTR and HTRG3
