Florio owes JSteelz & myself a check for that lifting that. #twittertimestamphashimnailed :)

definite owned thread potential there, TK.

It's up in the air right now, but when the dominoes start to fall (probably around midnight on 13 March) they will fall fast!

Frankly, I don't think he will have a long post Colt career. I think he will get hit again in such a way that his neck becomes injured again and his career will be over for good.

If the Colts didn't want him back and preferred to just start over now; why would any team that needs several pieces really invest in a risk that Manning is. The Texans, Jets, San Fran, Baltimore seems like logical teams. Of course, 3 of those teams have a QB; but they could trade their young QB and get Peyton and make a run now.

Here's one interesting possibility. Manning goes to the Texans and we trade for Matt Schaub?

I am over Manning, this one and his retard brother, I just hope he signs with someone quick so we can stop hearing his name locally.

Its clear we are no longer a viable alternative for top level free agents due to the lack of competitiveness and instability we have shown on and off the field the past decade under Snyder. I wonder if Dan's ego allows him to realize that players he brought with Vinny came here strictly for the CASH and not because he was a miracle salesman like he thought. At this point our team is limited to acquiring the 2nd tier of FA's and anyone from the top tier would be guys we dont want; players who essentially would be looking to get paid over anything else. Its clear we HAVE to put together a few good drafts in a row and get the talent level up so that we can field a team where potential FA's could envision themselves in a winning situation.

I think that given the state of the franchise we have to hope as fans that the Rams work a deal with the Browns for Griffin. At this point the franchise is so fragile if we botch this deal and Griffin turns out to be anything less than Cam NEwton there is no recovering from losing 3 1st rounders that most likely would all be top 10. Praying we do the safe thing and keep the 6 pick and actually build a solid foundation through the draft that will make us competitive cause we have to realize at this point FA isnt really an option for us anymore.

I doubt we will give up three first round picks for RG3. And if we do get him, people really have to temper their expectations for his first season. Those who think that Griffin will automatically mean a playoff berth in 2012 are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I think it's important to realize that the fact that the Redskins contacted made contact with Manning doesn't tell us anything about how thrilled they were about the prospect of signing him. The Skins are a team that desperately needs a quarterback, and one of the best quarterbacks of all time just hit the market. Even if it's absolutely not the direction they think they want to go, it would still be irresponsible to not at least put out some feelers, gauge interest, and see what's available.

mad mike do you have a brother, cuz that doesnt sound something brothers are scared of. instead the opposite just my opinion on how i am.

Eh, it depends on the age

Up until the age of 18, my younger brother and I competed with each other in EVERYTHING. It didn't matter what it was, we wanted to beat each other.

After college, its turned into much more supporting each other and helping each other succeed. I actually get more satisfaction when HE is successful at something then I do when I am

Just as I've been saying since day one of the speculation. No way in HELL is he going to put himself in a rivalry situation with his brother. PERIOD.

A division that is winnable?

His brother now has more super bowls than him?

Can beat him prime time twice a year?

If Peyton is a competitor, that should make him want to come here to be honest.

Still crossing my fingers for the RG3 though...

No I don't which is probably why I don't apply my pre-conceived notions of how brothers will act and instead base my opinion of how the two of them have acted about each other.

These are two brothers who love each other and support each other. The won't shy away from competition it it happens by circumstance, But no way in hell are those two going to want to put themselves in a situation that for one of them to succeed EVERY YEAR the other must fail. If they want to play against each other, it's *IN* the Superbowl.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
