Louskins9193
Last Game he played at FedEx I believe we dropped 2 ints? Anyone remember that? Carlos and Landry. We would have won with those 2 ints. I remember that game very well as I was there at Fedex and saw the game, as I remember right the Skins played an awesome game and yes came dam near winning it as well!! skinsmarydu
Only read the first page of the thread and will reiterate...we don't need a 36-year old with a neck injury. I have one....people, please!!!
MR2Drift
Now that the whole indy offense has been kicked out of town, how about we tell payton that we will hire his buddies if he plays with us?
SWFLSkins
Looks like he is meeting as we speak with old horse face himself....then on to the Cards and Miamspending time with the Broncos. Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report that, before Manning returns to Miami, he’ll visit at least one other team.[/i]The Cardinals.[/i][/i] - Is he going by alphabetical order? Broncos, Cards, Dolphins, etc??? hahaa

theTruthTeller
Last Game he played at FedEx I believe we dropped 2 ints? Anyone remember that? Carlos and Landry. We would have won with those 2 ints. Here was your quote regarding 33yo John Beck this year Give him a couple games .....He will surprise us all.......He has all the tools. Not to dump on you rail, but the comments people are making about Manning are just ridiculous. His strength is his arm and his knowledge of the game. He won't be coming, but if he would agree to terms, it would be amazing to have a quarterback with his ability on the team for two years. I'm a big RG3 fan, but he's not the last great quarterback who will ever come out of college. They'll be another one next year, and the year after that. Another Manning won't be available perhaps for decades.
jeweiseman
I'm a big Peyton Manning fan, don't get my wrong, but he's only been a decent, not great, outdoor QB in recent years. Because of his age and injuries, he must only be considered a temporary solution, too. I'm a season ticket holder and would really like to see a young, promising athlete like RGIII come in and take over. Our zone blocking is better suited to a mobile QB and I think RGIII has the tools to stay in the pocket and get it down field as necessary. I loathe the cost but the best available option for us is to cough up enough draft picks to get RGIII at the No. 2 position from the Spams. Then we can add quality receivers, linemen, and other positions plus depth via free agency. HAIL!
Special K
Late to the party. But can I just say...THANK GOD? Carry on.
Jericho
I think Marshall is better than both Harrison and Wayne. He's produced had one season at less than 1,000 yards and that was his rookie year... without a QB close to as good as Peyton Manning throwing him the ball. Agreed. While I'll freely concede that Fitzgerald is better than Marshall, Marshall is a pretty damn good receiver in his own right. He's made three Pro Bowls in 6 years, including last year where Matt Moore was throwing him the ball. The idea put forth by at least one person in this thread that he's not a #1 receiver is laughable. He clearly is. He's easily one of the 10 best in the game. Of course, more will come into play than just WR depth. But Miami is just fine in that aspect

Now if he gets a free agent QB and has another 5-11 Season I think hes gone. I look at it like this RG3 Equals this years first. A free agent WR like Colston would make up for this years second. IF we are able to trade or pick up a big time OLineman? THEN next years first wont hurt too bad.
Agent23
Kinda bummed Peyton doesn't wanna come to the Redskins. But, RGIII is still my top choice. We need a young QB that we can build around. I'll be much more disappointed if they don't get RGIII.
MumboSauce
Tired of seeing "Daniel Snyder wants" coming from reporters and media. I sick and tired of them not getting the memo that he no longer is in charge of his X-Box and "Madden Controllers." ShanAllen are in charge of getting the players, not Danny Boy. ^^^^ I really hate this also...it's like regurgitated crap...most fans of other teams usually end with, (knowing I'm a skins fan) so long as you guys have that owner you'll never win. I guess they don't really pay attention to football outside of their own team... It's obvious to me Dan is not as involved and that Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan are making the decisions...they of course include the owner but Dan eventually understood getting competent football minds and letting them do their jobs. It's not a top front office...they have still made some moves that I either didn't like or just turned out to not be that good...but just from what I have seen decision wise, contracts done, players brought in, players drafted, etc. things are changing and are different than how it was. With all of that said, I understand it though..until we are competitive, are contenders, and WIN....this is the kind of crap we will have to always hear. HailToTheRedskins14
Schefter on ESPN news, Skins still pursuing Manning even with #2 pick. Now I'd be good with that, absolutely. Buy, at minimum, a year for RG3. If for no other reason than to avoid the inevitable whinefest on ExtremeSkins when RG3 throws his first pick. I can see it now : "AND WE GAVE UP THREE FIRZSTSZ FOR HIM!!! OH MY GOD!"
