Cen Tex Skins
OK just want to change it up a bit here.Instead of talking about Luck or RGIII let's discuss who our QB next year(whoever it might be)will be throwing to.I for one hope we draft Marvin McNutt WR Iowa.He is 6'4, has decent speed and great hands.I think he would be the perfect compliment to our severly lacking WR core. That being said I don't have a problem with drafting M.Sanu,J.Criner or D.Jones but my first choice is definitely McNutt! He is a quality prospect with good character and I think he is gonna be a star.Just hope he becomes a star in the B&G! ...Discuss

Bat~man
Grossman throwing to Moss!! Err...wait. Nevermind! I admit, I am completely clueless as to what I think will happen. It's actually a nice feeling, but I just hate that we won't know until April!!

Cen Tex Skins
Would love to keep Moss but don't think he is coming back.Still not sure AA is gonna still be here either..even if he is not convinced he will be productive again. We may go FA but still think McNutt is our man. CPORTISFAN999
wouldnt it be funny if we still had mcnabb? i could hear it on tv now: "and mcnabb looks left, still looking, throws downfield, touchdown!!! mcnabb finds mcutt deep for 6!!!" RedskinNutt
I love the idea...especially since he is a distant relative! Been watching him truly evolve into a very good WR. Good speed, strong over the middle, it would be great to see him run the next several years with Hankerson perhaps...the anti-smurfs
Cooooley47
He does look like a beast from that youtube video. This seems to be a very strong offensive draft this year. Would be nice if they could manage to find a way to grab more draft picks again this year to get some playmakers on offense. We know MS is looking into a playmaker WR... DogofWar1
Obviously who he's throwing to will be somewhat dependant on who he is. That being said, we can nail down a few guys: WR/TE: Moss, Gaffney, Hankerson, and Davis are sure things. Paulson, Cooley, Stallworth, Paul, and Robinson are good bets too. Austin and Armstrong are maybes. Then it depends on what happens in FA and the draft. There's a lot of scenarios: - Sign QB via FA and sign WR via FA: Big names are Bowe and Colsten, but also guys like Meachem - Sign QB via FA and sign WR in Draft: Depends on pick we use. Blackmon is probs gone either way, so Jeffrey or Floyd in the 1st, or maybe Wright, Sanu, or Toon in 2nd. We might have to trade down a bit here. We could probably go to 10 and still get either Jeffrey or Floyd. - Draft rookie QB at 6 and sign WR in FA: Same as above with FA - Draft rookie QB at 6 and sign WR in Draft: If in 2nd round, then probably Wright, Sanu, or Toon are our best bets. - Trade up for QB and lose 2nd, signing WR via FA: Same as other FA ones. - Trade up for QB and keep 2nd, signing via Draft: Keeping the 2nd is the hard part, but if we did this it'd be Wright, Sanu, or Toon. If we got RGIII than Wright might be best. There's chemistry there. And these are mainly one's where we pursue a WR in either FA or early in the draft, as opposed to say O-line. I bolded my personal preference. I want us to go after RGIII, then sign someone like Meachem. Of course, if we somehow keep our 2nd rounder while getting RGIII, I still say use FA, and then use the 2nd rounder to pursue Oline or CB. Sorry.I meant we should draft him second rd.If he is still there. McNutt is not even projected in the top 10 WRs in the draft, and is projected 98 ovr in one mock, and not even ranked in ESPN's. If that holds, then he's probably available in the 3rd for us, if not the 4th or maybe even later.
Missouri_Skins_Fan
Baylor--RG3 throwing too.... WR's --------------------------- #1)Dewayne Bowe (signed as Unrestricted Free Agent) #2)Santana Moss #3)Jabbar Gaffney #4)Leonard Hankerson #5)Terrence Austin #6)Niles Paul #7)Brandon Banks (KR/PR, gadget player) (yes...and we currently have 8 WR's on the roster now --Bowe-- & Aldrick Robinson can go back to practice squad) TE's -------------------- Chris Cooley Logan Paulson Stanford--Coby Fleener (3rd rd pick or pick #70) Fred Davis gets Franchise Tagged and traded, either to move up for RG3 or for simply more draft picks. (2-spot-Rams could use a TE for Bradford & Possibly -3-spot-Vikings with Shiancoe a free agent and FB/TE Jim Kleinsasser retiring) Other notable Skins Free Agents get re-signed, Fletcher--Landry--Carriker, etc

(2-spot-Rams could use a TE for Bradford & Possibly -3-spot-Vikings with Shiancoe a free agent and FB/TE Jim Kleinsasser retiring) I hope we don't do this. Paulson is decent but not #1 TE good, and Cooley is an unknown at this point due to injury. Even if he comes back, if he's lost a step then we're in serious trouble without Davis. I'm also not too keen on using our 3rd for a TE. We need to address QB (obviously), Oline, CB, and WR before we entertain the notion of a TE, and we can't have handled all those by the 3rd round no matter how well things go. Also, I'm not sure Davis will work with franchise tagging. He's had one good year, and it's been hurt by his suspension. If I'm a team, do I really put 1st round value on a guy who might get a full year vacation for smoking weed? It seems like a huge gamble for a team. We might be able to get a 2nd rounder, but then I'd say that I'd rather keep him than have the other 2nd rounder. Right now, the only player I think we could franchise tag without problems would be Orakpo, but we need him here as well.
Son of Gadsden
I say it a million times a day. Shanahan has yet to be predicted by anyone I have heard on any of his moves or draft picks. Nothing has changed. He'll blow all of our minds once again.
Cen Tex Skins
Come April McNutt will easily be a 2nd rounder. If he falls he will be gone by the top of 3rd rd. but again I doubt that happens. He is an underestimated receiver and his stock is climbing. If Shanny wants him he will need to grab him in the second. All these preliminary projections are wrong...he will go higher than 3rd or 4th rd. DC9
He's a projected 3rd-4th round pick. lol, seriously, can people go look at a Mock draft before posting about Wide Recievers please? I'm reading guys who say "no way you take Alshon Jeffrey with a top 10 pick." Are you ****ing kidding me? It's not that hard. There is also a phenominal mock draft database. He's a prototype for Shanny. HAIL!
