It does seem to have a pretty good cast of supporting characters. This movie looks Bourne-like

Yup, plus a legitimate director. Most of the reviews have been about how it's a tight, well made, and well shot movie with real fighting, good action, and no shaky cam.

I mean sweet Lord look at that AZZ!

.

Seriously dude. That's the best pic of her by far..

And I wouldn't exactly call her role in this movie as "acting." She used to kick ass for a living, and I'm sure she'll do more fighting than talking from the looks of the preview, hoping that her good looks will sell tickets.

I got $10 that says this movie is out of theaters in 3 weeks LOL.

Sorry, thought I posted a review.

It's different than what I expected. It has a very neo-noir ambiance to it.

Carano is stiff as an actor, but the rest of the.cast picks it up. Action scenes are good. Brutal and violent but not over the top.

I liked it but it was much different than I originally expected. If you're expecting a Bourne remake, this ain't it. It's more subtle, more suspense filled then that.

One way to describe it is "Remember what some of the weird action movies were like in the 80s? Yeah, it's like that" :ols: Right down to the weird disjointed sound track and the constant silent pauses in the dialogue.

I laughed more during this movie than I did feel the rush of a proper action movie. Her acting wasn't great but her low line count allows this to be somewhat ignored. The directing however couldn't have been more distracting if it had been represented in the movie by a talking purple elephant. I expected much more from Soderbergh than something that could have starred Jay Leno and Pat Morita.

I add this positive, it's nice to a see a movie where the fighting style actually looks like something that might hurt as opposed to the power ranger fighting that dominates Hollywood. She turns her hips into this kicks and launches some knees to the body that looked like she was aiming for the spine.
