Bat~man
Well, not a lot to discuss as of yet..for the first half I feel like Robin Hood must have stolen my sack of gold because we are currently SACKLESS. /discuss
“Misdirection”
Perry Riley has been playing great today. Quite pleased with his progress this year.

dg28daman
Love Riley, he's been a real difference maker in the run defense.
Conn
Well, that's one ILB spot filled for the foreseeable future. And another check in the "success" column in terms of Shanahan's drafting. A lot of people didn't understand making Riley our 4th round pick Shanahan's first year.
DC9
I take back the "trade Orakpo" stance I've taken. Watching him play yesterday... I was very impressed. Looked great against the run, looked good in coverage, and made good tackles. I was proven wrong yesterday IF he can continue to play at that level. Kerrigan was double teamed and held a lot yesterday, caved in once or twice on setting the edge but had a good game as well. And I just can't get enough Perry Riley, I've been surprised by this kid and he just keeps impressing. This is one of the best linebacking corps in the league. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Fletcher and in the draft, but this is a playoff caliber defense.

I'm also impressed with our LBs, but I'm concerned about our depth inside and Fletcher's replacement. I figure we need at least 2 or 3 new backers by next 2013. Probably even more given that we really need a stud there.
