Orakpo on Romo

Talking about Romo sits to pee's spinning and scrambling, Orakpo said, "That's Romo sits to pee. He's like a snake, man. When you rush him, he's slippery. He's all over the place."

He still sucks....

Tony Romo sits to pee is better than any quarterback the Redskins have had in 20 years. He doesn't suck. He may start for a rival team, but he doesn't suck. The man makes plays.

So sit back and think about that for a second. Being a blind homer never got anyone anywhere.

I think he was saying Orakpo sucks.

He doesn't suck, but he has been underwhelming this season. I honestly don't think there would have been a difference today if Lorenzo Alexander had replaced Orakpo.

Hes already said he meant Romo sits to pee. Take your agenda elsewhere.

Orakpo on Romo sits to pee.

Something we may never see.

Not sure I ever want to see that. :paranoid:

Oh, and Orakpo was excellent against the run today like he's pretty much been all year. He's also been solid in coverage. So there.

Kerrigan, Nield, Carriker, Bowen and Fletcher don't think the samething.

Where has being a realist gotten you?

I beg to differ. How many feel good stories about him playing lights out do we have to endure every year? Remind me what year he's in again. Don't you have to win something eventually? Call me a hater, but do something before before the media clowns crown him the best ever at never doing anything.

I wouldn't say all year, but he's been decent. Coverage OK, but for a guy who's supposed to be able to lift OL off their feet with ease he's handles by one LT too much.

I'm not saying get rid of him, nor that I wouldn't be happy with his performance normally, but I think he can be a lot better.

Head to head against Rex this year, his stats are virtually identical in the two games. The difference is really the field goal kicker ... not to mention OL, WR, TE and RB.

Throw out the stats for a second. Which QB made more big plays? That's more important.

I think Romo sits to pee is overrated as hell but he definitely knows how to make a play.

Ryan Kerrigan is starting to help me understand how and why Orakpo slipped all the way down to the 13th pick when we selected him in the 09 draft. I like B.O. but I have always viewed him as a bonafide DE playing out of position at LB. Kerrigan on the other hand has made the transition from DE to LB rather seemlessly in his first year as a pro. I think Rak would be a lot harder to stop, if he was playing with his hands in the dirt in a 4-3 scheme. I could be wrong about that but its not like he's ever had a 4 or 3 sack game for that matter, since we inexplicably changed to a 3-4 scheme when Shanny arrived. I hope I'm wrong about Rak but so far this season he hasn't given me much of a reason to think the linebacker experiment is in his long term best interests. Especially not today against the cowgirls when we were one foiled 3rd down conversion away from a win...
