In the market for some new shoes...

Well, you could go a few ways on high-top Nikes: Blazers, Air and Dunks. I typically prefer the Air and Blazers for high-tops, the dunks just look odd in high-tops, to me.

For instance, I think this is a sharp pair of Blazers, and though price isn't a big issue, they are still a decent price at $75:

I like these AF1's:

If you wanted to consider some low cut kicks, I really like this pair:

Did you guys even read the first post? He was asking for input on "high-topped" shoes.

Sure I read it, but if he's really looking for a pair of shoes then going to the store and seeing what they have is probably the way to go. What's more is that the shoes that I posted are much more civilized and will last a lot longer than a pair of over priced basketball shoes.

Yeah, those shoes actually cost more than my suits. But a fella can dream right?

What's funny is that I've had a pair of black Hush Puppy wingtips that I bought almost 10 years ago now for next to nothing and they have been the best pair of shoes I've ever owned, I'm only now getting to the point where they'll have to be replaced because the sole split on them. :(
