Hank's injury the same one that ended Bo's career

Sidney Rice had it last season. Unfortunately he had it RIGHT before the start of the season which screwed over the Vikings, but he's showing no ill effects from it on Seattle now.
Yeah, NOW he's suffering from what I believe is called "crappy quarterbackitis" :ols:

I actually had the same injury two years ago and it wasn't to bad to recover from. I had to get it twice because the first time my hip didn't respond well and they couldn't get my hip open up enough. Just thought I would throw in my experience...it really is not too long of a recovery, as long as everything goes well and after 3 months or so I was able to run around and start working out. And this was all at ODU so I am going to assume the Skins have a better training staff and will have no problem getting him back for next season.

Yep, we are cursed... Finally find a great young receiver, and he gets a possibly career ending injury.

These injuries are getting crazy, but we need to get this curse **** under control.

1. "a great young receiver" - The guy had one good game. Promising, sure, but great, not yet. Of course, very little changed because of this game. Hankerson was already promising, and he still is.

2. "career ending injury" - again, no. It ended Bo's career, but lot's of people have come back from it.

There are probably semi analogous situations to this one on every team in the league in the past 5 years.

Dang. I can't believe this. If I was Helu I'd be scared to death lol. I guess I'll just go back to loosely keeping up with them. Its just hasn't been our decade and definitely isn't going to change this year.

Next year we need some major depth. This is goofy.

How is the comparison to Bo over the top when, if you read the article I posted, clearly stated that 2 of the ten "more recent" athletes in the study never returned to their competitive level and eventually needed new hips. The "merit' of the facts is as clear as the day is long.

Isn't that article from July of 03? I would think there would be more up to date info out there.Hopefully, there have been advances in this area since then.

This is being blown out of proportion.

Seriously. Its not a minor injury by any means, but Shanahan already put his time-table at about 4 months. He should be fine, given that there's no need to rush back at all.

I'm much more concerned about Cooley's seemingly permanently ****ed up knee, and Lich's ligaments.

pram, it's almost like you're arguing for Hank to really have the worst outcome now. Just let people be positive about it and hope that it's not the worst case scenario and if it does happen then they'll worry about it. I don't understand why you so desperately need to make sure everyone should worry more. You got your point across, it's done.

calm down... i was just kidding around,

its just seems perfect that a promising talent got injured right after his best game.

That's why I accused him earlier of being a Dallas fan trying to give Redskins fans heart-attacks!...it was a joke, but seriously...threads like these don't need to be started.
