80s Song of the day (01/19/12)

Following on from Bang putting up the Bunnymen (Mac just ROCKS!), here's a few more local sounds from the '80's that got their grounding in Erics, a club also on Matthew Street opposite the far more famous Cavern Club; but to many Liverpudlians an equally important venue.

(Strictly speaking '79, but it's one of my fav. Elvis songs ..... notice how the N word goes from the ever conscious BBC)

(Just for Bang, the last two's frontmen Julian Cope and Pete Wylie started out with Mac in the Crucial Three.).

Hail.

I hope you like these Vids as much as I do! They they really are special, I think ... Gary Moore, great songs from a great band and wonderful quality to boot. Very sad that both Phil and Gary are both gone but these songs from the concert are a treasure!

Sorry guys, can someone remind me how to post the short-cut link? Thanks in advance!

GHH< I love echo and the Bunnymen.. Mac does indeed rock.

I find it interesting that when they're written about now, they achieved a "cult following" here in the states.

So, I guess I'm a member of a cult.
