Cool and freaky. What temperatures are we talking about?

'High temperature' superconductivity is anything from 30 to a little over 100 Kelvin, dependent on the material, i.e. or about -240 to -170 C. But he's touching the 'puck'. Maybe the core is chilled to this and the ceramic is acting as an insulator, but I'm curious how he can touch it like that and either not lose skin :) or reduce the effect by raising the temperature.
