BOLD PREDICTION TIME: Project the division winners and wild cards

ACW

Recommended Posts

NFCE: Redskins :D with PHI getting it together to get a wild card

NFCN: Green Bay wins the division, with Detroit getting the wild card (could EASILY be flipped)

NFCS: New Orleans

NFCW: Tempted to say SF, but I think Arizona will get it together

AFCE: New England; Buffalo and the Jets get the wild cards

AFCN: Baltimore

AFCS: Houston (though Indy will win some games)

AFCW: San Diego (but Oakland will JUST miss the wild card)

And with the first pick in the 2012 draft, the MINNESOTA VIKINGS select Andrew Luck (or someone else if they think Ponder's good enough)

NFC EAST - Eagles (yea, I just don't think they are as bad as everyone is saying)

NFC WEST - Arizona

NFC NORTH - Green Bay

NFC SOUTH - New Orleans

Wild cards - Detroit and Tampa

AFC EAST - New England

AFC WEST - San Diego

AFC SOUTH- Houston

AFC NORTH- Baltimore

Wild Cards - Oakland and Jets

And with the first pick the Colts take Andrew Luck to be groomed by Peyton Manning for the next 2 years. OUCH!!

I'll play along but we are 4 weeks in, time for bold predictions are usually before the season starts. :ols: People then usually adjust their predictions midseason; so you are 4 weeks early.

My revised BOLD or Not Predictions:

NFCE: (3)NY Giants win the division

NFCN: (1)Green Bay wins the division easily and (5)Detroit gets the wild card.

NFCS: (2)New Orleans win the division and (6)Tampa gets the wild card

NFCW: (4)San Fran wins the division with a 8-8 record.

I'll go even further and predict the playoffs:

Wild Card: NY Giants over Bucs; Lions over 49ers

Divisionals: Packers over Lions, Saints over Giants

Championship: Packers over Saints

AFCE: (1)New England wins division and (5)Buffalo gets wild card. I think Jets miss playoffs.

AFCN: (2)Baltimore wins division.

AFCS: (3)Houston

AFCW: (4)San Diego and (6)Oakland beats Jets for 6th wild card by virtue of their win over the Jets.

Wild Card: Oakland over Houston, Buffalo over San Diego- Norv finally gets canned

Divisionals: Pats over Oakland, Baltimore over Buffalo

Championship: Ravens over Pats- I now think Ravens go to the bowl instead of the Pats

Superbowl: Packers repeats as champs by defeating the Ravens.

Is that bold enough for you ACW. :ols: I went further than you did.

And with the first pick in the 2012 draft, the Miami Dolphins select Andrew Luck.

Wow, ACW is the only one to give the 'Skins some love so far... I think we at least get a wild card berth... I think Giants win the division, even if they pay the refs off like they did. No way the Eagles get in. Cowboys have a decent team but they are going through a tough stretch, see them barely missing the wild card.

I predict the Super Champion Detroit Lions to win every division, win each divisional and conference game, and then after 20 overtimes, Goodell will finally end the game calling the first ever Super Bowl Tie Game between the Super Champion Detroit Lions and the Super Champion Detroit Lions.

See, I think the Cowboys just imploded on themselves with that loss to the Lions & with 2 weeks to let that fester, I don't know that they'll rebound (or at least I hope they don't).

NFCE: Skins

NFCN: Lions

NFCS: Saints

NFSW: 49ers

Wild Card: Packers, Cardinals

AFCE: Bills

AFCN: Ravens

AFCS: Texans

AFCW: Raiders

Wild Card: Patriots, Titans

First pick: Vikings

ACW now was the time for you to ask your Bold Predictions Question- mid season. If a new thread is setup; I'll copy this to it. Everyone has now played at least half their games; so we have better idea of who's going and who's not.

Rdskns2000's Bold REVISED MIDSEASON Picks.

I think in the AFC:

1. Baltimore Ravens

2. Houston Texans

3. New England Patriots

4. San Diego Chargers

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

6. Cincinnati Bengals

Wild Card: Bengals over Patriots, Steelers over Chargers

Divisional Playoffs: Ravens over Bengals, Steelers over Texans

AFC Championship: Ravens over Steelers

AFC Coaching Changes: Dolphins, Jaguars, Colts, Chargers

I think in the NFC:

1. Green Bay Packers

2. San Francisco 49ers

3. New York Giants

4. New Orleans Saints

5. Detroit Lions

6. Chicago Bears

Wild Card: Giants over Bears, Saints over Lions

Divisionals: Packers over Saints, 49ers over Giants

NFC Championship: Packers over 49ers

NFC Coach Changes: Rams, Cards and I think the Giants' Tom Coughlin will retire. Andy Reid era could also end, it wouldn't be shocking if it happened.

Superbowl: Packers over Ravens

Colts have first pick and select Andrew Luck. Peyton Manning is either traded or outright released.

My boldness at midseason has both North divisions sending 3 teams to the playoffs; of course I am assuming the way things are now plays out the rest of the season.
