Look, off-sides was very obvious...I have no qualm with Trent not getting called.

But, Where isn't supposed to get a head start...it's illegal...and it wasn't called a number of times.

BTW, I'm glad to see all of you puke fans returning after that dreadful season last year.

Welcome back.

Nice try...Where was illegal several times last night...no calls.

If you have a star on your helmet, you don't get called...you get projected for the HOF.

You know that.

Actually Dallas is usually one of the most penalized teams in the league. But your right, the refs NEVER call anything on Dallas. They get away with everything.

Last night I almost banned KDV permanently for being a troll, and checked his posting history and user notes. It was a very close call and the scales tipped ever so marginally to my holding off. Right now his membership hangs by a thread.

Jflow, you too almost bought a temp ban. You crossed the line on getting personal and over the top in the process. You get a break too under the cirumstance of KDV's actions and the redeeming part of your post in question. See that you don't abuse it, amigo. Now I am going to see who else helped derail the tone of this thread and maybe make some more decisions.

If anyone here thinks there is going to be an open door to endless stupid idiocy under the guise of fierce rivalry, or perpetual trolling of any type as the mods define it, they will find themselves looking for another forum regardless of their team of choice, length of membership, or any other factor. This is something the mod staff has recently again discussed in agreement. So those who need it best get a clue if they like it here or gtfo.

As I posted several times earlier, this was a particularly painful loss to me, too, and I am not in a mood to suffer fools.

Are you saying that, in addition to Ware, defensive linemen were also jumping offside?

Look, you may think Where is a linebacker, but those who know football say a guy who lines up and charges every down is a d-lineman. I'm pretty sure you almost wet your pants every time he drops into coverage.

I'll say it again...it was a horribly officiated game, simply because the most obvious of calls were not called.

I saw him make a nice open field tackle yesterday when he dropped into coverage. Why wouldn't you rush someone who is the most dominant in the league at it?

I do agree that there were missed calls for both sides last night.

Look, Where isn't a Ray Lewis type of LB...he's a specialist...and, he's got plays designed for him.

Why are you so defensive about him being a sally one note? He plays on an over-hyped organization, so I'm sure his one dimensionalism will be overlooked when he goes to Canton.

He's soooo deserving.

Good game, Dallas fans. I thought both Teams played a little too tight all game. As usual, the Team that made the fewest mistakes won.

Once again Tony Romo sits to pee shows that he's an amazing QB, one of the best in the league. He always finds a way to make a play. Why doesn't he ever save the ridiculous choke jobs for us?

Anyways, I've come to terms that the reason the football "always seems to bounce right back up and hit Romo sits to pee in the hands" is because Romo sits to pee has a freakish athletic dexterity that allows him to catch a crazy bouncing ball. I've seen him do it too many times now, he's got the cat-like reflexes. Seen it too many times to call it luck.

I wonder if tr1 was saying ":rotflmao: :rotflmao: tony Romo sits to pee sucks dude he is danny white he sucks dude :rotflmao: :rotflmao:" when Romo sits to pee skull-****ed our defense last night? Probably.

Hardly.

He had a play here and there...and, for all the excuse making the announcers made for him because of the receiving corps he had, I didn't see him throw a single TD, even though Dez and Whitten played.

Romo sits to pee threw into coverage a half dozen times...and our dbs dropped them...they always do. I credit D'Angelo's head more than Romo sits to pee's arm for any heroics last night.

And, unlike most in ES, I think LaRon is a detriment to the team...as evidenced again last night. I love the big hits, but hate the opponents big runs due to poor angles.

December awaits Romo sits to pee every year...as freakish as his reflexes, make sure to remind me how great a qb he is when the weather gets cold.

He forced a turnover that set the Redskins up first and goal at the 10. I wish we had more players that are detriments to the team.

And, how many long run plays did he give up at crucial times. Hey, he's suffered from this affliction for a long time. I'm pretty sure the coaches have talked to him about it. I'd just like to see some improvement.

So every time there's a long run, it's because of Landry? I'm not buying it. He's not good in coverage. He's better in run support.

The Redskins always play healthy, loaded Cowboy teams better then a banged up version. Look how many backups have somehow beaten the Redskins over 40+ years.

Yet when the Cowboys showed up fully healthy in the season opener in 2010, that offense mustered all of 7 points

Even the horrible Greg Blache D of 2009 held the Cowboys to a total of 24 points in 2 games

Just looking back since 2004 (I am just bored now)

2004- Cowboys combine for 34 (21 and 13)

2005- Cowboys combine for 20 (13 and 7)

2006- Cowboys combine for 46 (27 and 19)

2007- Cowboys combine for 34 points (28 and 6)

2008- Cowboys combine for 38 points (24 and 14)

2009- Cowboys combine for 24 points (7 and 17)

2010-Cowboys combine for 40 points (7 and 33)

That is an average of 33.8 points per season since 2004, 17 points per game, with an outlier being 33 last year (with Kitna being the starter). The Cowboys have not scored 20 points in both games since 2003 (21 and 27 points)

This year we have:

2011- 6 FGs in an 18-16 win. I have no doubt the D will hold the Cowboys to under 20 in November

The moral being: If the Redskins could ever consistantly score above 20 against the Cowboys, we'd get them more then they get us

I apologize for being acerbic tonight, but that was a disappointing loss. Tonight was really the first time I thought the game through, and can't understand losing to a team that could only produce field goals.

The Skins continue to amaze me in the ways (varied and original) they let other teams beat them.

Someone put an end the the ****ing HEX!

This was a very frustrating loss, that being said, I feel this team is moving in the right direction. As far as Dallas having multipule injuries,so what. The Skins have been decimated by injuries in recent seasons and there was no pity for them,it is just part of football. There are weaknesses on both teams healthy or not, neither is a juggernaut. Hopefully the Skins will put this game in the rear view mirror, beat the Rams and go into the bye at 3-1

This Sports Illustrated article backs you up:

Pertinent part:

Hall failed to do his job too, which was to make sure Bryant didn’t get deep.

Give Romo sits to pee, Bryant and the Cowboys’ blockers credit for making the play happen. But it would not have if the Redskins had executed any part of it as planned.

Despite how sloppy the game was, I found it to be entertaining. For the record, I thought that Ware was off-sides on the play in question, but I have no problem with the non-call as he was held quite a few times as well. I know that Rex was in full "Good Rex/Bad Rex" mode last night, but I think that Shanahan is doing a good job with him and we will see more "Good Rex" this year. I see you guys destroying the Rams and going into your bye week at 3-1....

Congratulations to the dallas fans on this board. Your team beat the Skins in a hard fought victory while missing key pieces to your team.

The Skins are moving in the right direction. You need a QB and some younger skill players. But the heart of your team is setting in really nice.

As for the Cowboys, I feel like I've seen it all before. The media creates a bandwagon, pressure to win builds on the team, the players and coaches lay a dud, season over. It is possible that things will be different this year, but so far, it looks pretty much the same. The idiots that run the local Dallas media are falling in love with Romo sits to pee, Garrett and the Cowboys again. It won't be long before all of the SB talk nonsense starts up.

I want to believe as much as any Cowboys fan out there. But, I guess I'm getting too old and cynical. Perhaps that has something to do with Jerruh. He's still lives in the building...:mad:

For all of the suffering you endure as a Skins fan, you usually do get the privilege of having the last laugh on the Cowboys every season. I'll never forget how this place erupted after the Cowboys fell to the Giants in the 2007 playoffs. A truly classic moment!

I am still pissed about that game and I still hate Patrick Crayton for his dropped ball and the route that he quit on.

It's a good thing that receivers and defensive backs share the same short term memory loss when it comes to dropped balls and being burned instead of the long term memory we fans have. Otherwise they'd need therapy on daily basis. :silly:
