Andy Pollin listed a few of the ones aforementioned earlier this week in his blog and on "Sports Reporters."

http://www.espn980.com/includes/blog/index.php?action=blog&blog_id=1&post_id=9821

1. Two timeouts by Gibbs, 2007

2. Westbrook helmet slam, 1997

3. Morgan ball toss, last week

4. Frerotte wall head butt, same game as #2

5. Riggs fumble, 1989

IMO, more from the Norv era (aside from the 7-7 tie game) need to be mentioned. During his years, the games against the Cardinals always seemed to be adventures, and the 1996 games epitomized the Norv era perfectly. The home game midway through the season featured the Skins blowing a 14-point 4th quarter lead and Boomer Esiason throwing for over 500 yards. In overtime, didn't the Cardinals miss a FG, but a Skin jumped offside, and they got a second chance and won. Then in the game in Phoenix, we were ahead late and got a key sack of Kent Graham.....but Romeo Bandison is called for a face mask and keeps the drive alive, and they kick a FG and win 27-26. Flip the results of those games and the Skins make the playoffs and the last game at RFK against the Cowboys is for the division title.

Not necessarily a bonehead play, but how did Suisham miss that 20-yard FG against the Saints in 2009 that would've put us up 10 and snap their undefeated season?

for all NFL Wrongway Jim Marshall has to be the worst ever! For the Skins it has to be Frerotte and the following soundbytes: "Leadership is overrated" Jeff George, "Maroon and Black" by Zorn, and "Hindsight is 50-50" Stevo Spurrier

Could you even imagine the Marshall gaff taking place in today's media world?????
