ACW
http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/no-victory-monday-off-for-redskins/2011/09/12/gIQADODyNK_story.html The Redskins reported to work Monday. Players watched game film together. They lifted weights, did some light running and met with coaches. Preparations for the Arizona Cardinals won’t begin in earnest until Wednesday, so it wasn’t a particularly tough workday. But it was an important departure from the way past Redskins teams responded to a win by taking advantage of “Victory Monday,” the NFL’s traditional day off for players that is guaranteed by a win. Coach Mike Shanahan would have required players to come to Redskins Park anyway, but he didn’t get the chance to issue a mandate. Linebacker London Fletcher, supported by the other veterans, made clear that despite winning the season opener in impressive fashion, players hadn’t earned anything yet.
