WT-- Champ restructures

About halfway down the article, it says that Champ renegotiated to free up about $560K in cap space. NFLPA actually shows his base salary number a bit higher ($1.569M) than previously listed, so I can't tell exactly what they did to renegotiate if anything.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/sports/20020328-1035265.htm

I think I would rather have Champ as a wide out once in a while over returning punts. On returns, you have everybody gunnin for ya, and as always can't aford to lose him to injury.

Antonio Pierce left practice with allergies? What a puss boy.

an Acute Hypersensitivity reaction (Allergy) can be FATAL.

Ala' bee stings, or almost anything.

in most cases the victim exeriences vertigo, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and best of all swelling in the sinuses and throat such that the victim cannot respirate.

the only hope in acute hypersensitivity reaction (most cases) is a shot of adrenaline.

these are treated very seriously folks.

S Double has point though, receivers will ask coach arent I good enuff to get the job done if Champ is put in.

I'm hoping the renegotiation means atleast an extra year for Champ even though I prefer an extension of 5 years instead.

the last thing the Redskins need is to fail to address a player's health concerns and suffer a tragedy like the one that befell Korey Stringer.

better to be safe than sorry.

in any case, I don't think Pierce would have been one of Marty's favorite players if he was the kind of guy that backs down from a challenge on the field during a game.

Whatever else you want to say about Marty, he could tell if a given defensive player had the stomach to be an NFL player........

too bad his clairvoyance didn't extend to judging the worth of his quarterbacks

well, that is another story isn't it?
