Thank you so much for posting these vids! I have not seen any footage of the game besides what's on NFL.com

Once he gets acclimated to the NFL, Helu is going to be a beast.

And I've got an instant man-crush on Darrel Young and Hightower.

Thanks for posting. Rex and the play-calling looked good against the Steelers' rush. Also, I liked that Rex, even if not the most polished QB (e.g., Peyton Manning), seemed to be putting the ball in spots that the receiver could make plays on it. Glad we re-signed Moss. Kerrigan looked average, but still a rookie I suppose. I liked the way Hightower runs, definitely doesn't shy away from contact. Reminds me a bit of Portis the year he bulked up and seemed to relish the hits. Clemens definitely looked to be a step down from sexy. Hankerson looked scared of the ball and scared to get hit. He better get his head in the game.

Watch Grossman at :55 and 1:15

Instant discredit to any "our oline made him look good" idiots.

I dont think I've ever seen him look so comfortable in the O.. Really hope he can sustain that!! Another thing that was different was (iirc) we only had like 2 dropped balls? And the one by Davis was due to a good timed hit.. Last year we had butter fingers throught just about every game/drive it seemed.. Just preseason but definitely encouraging!

Note: Thanks NLC for the clip links!!

I always thought that the o-line looking better last year had less to do with them magically improving with McNabb out of the game, and more with the fact that Rex was getting the ball out of his hands quickly and efficiently. He had a lot of batted balls in the last game of the season versus the Giants, but he was throwing to open guys and he was doing it fast.

Quarterbacks that make quick decisions and get the ball out of their hands quickly can make mediocre o-lines look a lot better.

He has been very good at the top of his drop, even on plays where there was no pressure. Compare that to say.... Jason Candle.

Bad news about our o-line depth, I just saw the worst football player ever. Watch the Royster plays, and follow #60, RG, Selvish Capers. He is terrible. He is out of position or gets blown up on just about every single play. I don't think he won a single match-up.

Capers seems destined to either be cut, or land on the practice squad again. He seriously needs to hit the weight room, work on technique, or something. He's just awful

I think one of my favorite moments of these videos is about 50 seconds into the Tim Hightower, where he burst through a hole and then blows Ryan Clark up. There were no "we shoulda kept Clark" comments after this game, that's for sure...
