Ashburn Dave
It's OK because we have Shanny's typical RRBC.
Crazy Levi
It's a real shame, this guy looked great when he was healthy. Which wasn't often. Glad we brought in Hightower.
Bat~man
Do some of you guys still hate the Hightower deal? Torrain is a monster but he won't play 16 games unless you add up the next 3 seasons...
Darc Requiem
I hate to do it, but I'm starting to think this describes Torain perfectly When healthy, he's a beast. However, he seems to get injured rather easily.
PCS
Could be Torain is a bit......delicate or it could be the staff is just doing it's protect him at all cost thing. His history says he could get hurt turning off his alarm clock in the morning however. Wouldn't mind seeing how young Mr. Helu will shape up as the practices go on. SkinnedAussie
I reckon he's two more injuries away from being cut! Then again, he might even cut himself shaving with an electric razor.
scruffylookin
Not a surprise. This is his MO and why it was laughable that anyone thought he could be our starter. He is a stopgap until we find a true reliable starter. Paging Mr Helu.
TSO
Is this thread title misleading or am I misreading this whole situation? According to the pressers I've watched from Shanahan and the coaches no one mentioned anything about a timeline, just that they're going to get an xray and see how bad it is. Where did the whole two weeks come from? I don't know, maybe I missed something? Sorry in advance if I did!
Redskins4ever
I can see Torain still beginning the season as the starter at RB. He'll still have a chance to play this pre season.
Guest Spearfeather
From Rotoworld.com Ryan Torain underwent surgery Thursday that involved four screws being placed into his broken left hand. The injury was diagnosed as a fractured third metacarpal. Torain's timetable for return is projected at 7-10 days, but he is one of the slower healers in football. Meantime, Tim Hightower and Roy Helu are getting first-team reps. abdcskins
All the more reason the Hightower trade made sense. I really hope this Helu kid is good.
