WyomingRedskin
So it begins for Mr. Torain. He hurt his wrist and is going to be missing the next two weeks of training camp according to the Post. I wonder how much this might put his starting job in jeopardy if some other people step up. Sounds like Helu is doing well and tomorrow I believe we will get our first look at Hightower. That trade looks better and better already.
Big Will
We will get to see a lot of Helu, Hightower, and Royster. Thats a good thing. We already have an idea of what Torain brings to the table.

skinsfan190
Shocking I'm glafd we got Hightower. Him and Helu could be a great 1, 2 punch.
hokie88
This may be a longshot at this point in training camp, but with Torain banged up I can definitely see Helu Jr winning the starting spot.
Ever202Reyes
Roy Helu anyone?
Bibby
Damn that sucks for Torain. But we know what we have in Torain so it's not that bad. I want to see more of Helu and Royster anyways.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Echoing what Will and Bibby said. It gives us an even greater look at the new guys, which no disrespect to Torrain, is a nice bonus considering we know exactly what we have in him. The more playing time the rooks in particular get this pre-season the better. Hail.
Coolio47
Jeez. Come on Torain, get it together. Seems like he is always hurt. At least it gives the team a chance to look at Hightower, Helu/Royster.
Koolblue13
Our ATV needs to be more like one of those old Honda three wheelers and less like a Banshie
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
hopefully helu steps up and we see whats hes got.
bigtymeskin2126
If Torain can stay healthy, he looks like he could be a top tier RB. But that's a HUGE if. One of my "friends" that is a Cowboys fan thinks that he is one of the few people to fear on our team, and he rarely gives any Skin a compliment. grhqofb5
How's Royster looking so far? Hear plenty about Helu, but haven't heard much on Royster.

jivelikenice
I think Torain missing anytime puts serious doubt in our coaches minds about whether this guy can be counted on to be the starter. His starting job is in jeopardy now IMO.
Bobbyst21
Not good at all for him in the grand scheme of things.Open competition at every position and hes out. More time for the coaches to look at the other RB's. I still think he'll make the roster but possibly not as the starter.
Guest Spearfeather
I don't think it's that much of a big deal. They know what he can do. It's his hand, not a knee. Could be he has a little bad luck. In his second preseason in Denver he shattered his elbow on a players helmet. ( In his first year, he did tear his ACL )
VinnyIsThatYou?
An easy scenario to imagine would be the coaches deciding to keep 6 WRs, 1 FB, and 3 TEs. That would most likely mean 3 RBs on the roster. Let's also imagine that Hightower is a lock and our two draft picks shine. I think Torain's roster spot, not starting spot, is in jeapordy. I don't think he's special enough to hold in some untouchable status like some here seem to do. If he can't get stay healthy he could be out. GaryGreenMonk
Torain is always getting hurt because of how he runs.. which is like a bowling ball. He needs to get better at minimizing damage at the point of impact when full collision is not necessary. i.e.. duck and dive for the last 2 yards.. don't bury your shoulder into a knee for it. GO HAMSKINS
Torrain will be sorry this season, why you ask? He's the starter and we all know how fans here does the starting tailback in Dc. After a few bad games fans will start to question Torrian average talent skill. With that said every single good Hightower run willl be this great praise of "he's the next one" smh every year it's the same crap
Truant
Calcium. Seriously. Helu will be a beast... but he's not a workhorse guy. Love the pick though.
skinfan2k
I think he is cut before the season starts. This guy is made out of straws. Go with Helu and Hightower and mix in Royster
HogHeaven84
He'll be fine in a few weeks. However, the poor guy hasn't been healthy a full season once since he's been in the league. He has talent and there's no denying that, but he's injury prone. So, I think this pretty much determines that we NEED to carry 4HB's....and Hightower could be seeing significant time this year as well as well as the rooks.
