WP DCSB: Vinny Cerrato says he’d sign Haynesworth again

I wonder if you can make a lawsuit for slander anytime he talks about the Skins

Even better Synder should have included a gag order as part of Cerrato's termination package. Shut up Vinny unlike most fans I don't hate you or think you are the devil, but you are not doing the fans or the team you claimed to love no favors. Its finally all about football let us have that, you owe us that much.

I think this says a lot about Vinny and/or the era we live in. It never used to be considered a fatal flaw to admit mistakes. Sometime in the recent past it became a sin to "flip-flop" or deviate from the chosen path even in the middle of disaster. Maybe it's because everything anyone of importance says is now recorded forever and society likes to use that against "celebrities." Regret is not the greatest emotion ever, but it serves a purpose.

Great thinkers can generally admit to a mistake. The fact that Vinny said this makes me think he has no clue, because I can not imagine who in their right mind would hire him after that comment. I would imagine he just signed a contract for a lifetime of unemployment from the NFL.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Bill Polian admitted he probably should have drafted differently last year.

64% of 1910 polled in this forum favored the deal when it was made.

29% opposed.

I voted no back then because I thought he was a douche before he signed. Stomping on another players head when his helmet is off is way over the line. Even if it was a Cowturd that he stomped on.

The relevance of that poll to this quote is pretty thin.

We're talking about a man who with the benefit of hindsight says he would make the very same decision that cost his employer a lot of money for very little return on investment.

I was also for Haynesworth when he was signed. What else does a fan have to do but be optimistic? In a perfect world, things would have worked out.

but for "he who's name shall not be mentioned" to state that he would do the exact same thing again despite all that happened.

 just

What percentage would say they would do the deal again if given the chance?

I wonder what Adam Archuleta is doing right now?

Sitting in front of his vault trying to remember the combination.

99.9999999999% of people polled in this forum after last season ended opposed resigning Haynesworth if given the chance to do so again.

1 person favored doing so.

His name is Vinny.

Fat Boy actually played well in year one. While complaining all the time, flopping on the field, and making it clear he wanted to be traded with his big 21 mil bonus still guaranteed.

This board as whole IS stupid. We got geniuses like Kdawg, TK, ASF, Jumbo, and many others, but they're severely outnumbered by the rest of us. Only 29% of us were against this deal. (*vainly pats self on back*).

And then Vinny takes stupidity to a whole new low, by saying he'd do it again, when HOPEFULLY 99% of us would be against it now, even if we had stayed in the 4-3.
