IRVING -- Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones hasn't talked with wide receiver Dez Bryant about his off the field issues that occurred last month.

Following Thursday's first round of the NFL Draft, Jones met with media members at Valley Ranch for about 25 minutes to discuss top pick Tyron Smith and other topics involving the franchise and the current state of the NFL.

Near the end of the question and answer session, Jones mentioned that he spoke with Bryant on the phone Thursday. He added that the two didn't discuss Bryant's issues, but would do so on Friday.

"We talked today," Jones said. "I wanted to make sure that he was going to come here tomorrow and, more importantly, to meet with out trainers. But we'll grab some time ... before the draft, and we'll talk about some of those issues."

In March, Bryant was issued a criminal trespass warning at a Dallas mall one week and faced multiple lawsuits ranging from owing money for jewelry, sporting event tickets and housing the following week. One of the lawsuits has recently been settled.
