I wonder how the Redskins rewards program will be this year. Since the woman who ran it left this year.

I'm going to miss Lisa.  She did a great job with Redskins Rewards.     According to Jason Friedman who is VP of Ticket Sales and Service nothing is happening to the RR program and we would start seeing a lot more stuff on it come the beginning of the season.   Last year they had an intern helping out for a bit so maybe they will be back.

Not sure where else to put this question so I’ll ask here. I’m currently looking at buying tickets for the jets game and I found some in lower level section 214 row 1. Now I know some sections in the 200 level are limited or obstructed view curious to know if anyone knows whether these seats would be limited or obstructed? I don’t wanna buy them if they are.

I'm expecting them to pull a Bobby Ewing in the shower, pretend last year didn't happen, and ask people to join the season ticket waiting list.

Think you're right in a sense. Was curious about Sheehan's tweet from earlier this week and just checked on Stubhub to verify. Looks like the total for the cheapest club level seats comes to $1100, and that includes fees. Breakdown of price per seat is as follows:

Dallas 228

Chicago 130

NE 239

SF 111

NYJ 81

Detroit 75

Philly 143

NYG 92

I noticed on ticketmaster the Redskins have began selling the terrible obstructed view seats behind row 15 in the 200 level again.  They had stopped selling these the last two years because they were so terrible but I guess they started reselling through a third party again.  The prices are pretty steep so there will be a lot of angry fans in the 200 level of the visitor side this year.

Still no tickets. Now they are saying they are lost. What a joke. They are sending me generic tickets  lol 15 years season ticket holder , paid my bill in full in march and this is what i get ????

Did you go to the preseason game? You can go to the ticket office and ask for the season ticket box with the stuff in it and they'll give it to you.  I did that when I went to the Maryland vs Texas game last year.  I told them I got digital tickets but wanted the box that came with the paper tickets and they gave it to me.

Avoid the first 3-4 seats at each end of the row. The railings slope upward and are often at eye level when you are sitting in your seats. If you are real tall, it's not so much of a problem. Personally, I prefer to start in row 2 or 3 because of the metal railings. On the other hand, you get a little more leg room and a ledge to put your drink and  food on.

True obstructed views are only on the visitor side and begin in row 14. Rows 13 down are fine.

If it were me, I would avoid section 214 or any other corner end zone seats. Just really bad angles to watch the game. Either look for sideline or the true end zone seats. Watching from the end zone lets you seen all the running and passing lanes open up. Very unique view of the football game. A pain when the teams are at the other end of the field but you do have the Video screen directly in front of you. Lots of fun when the Redskins are coming at you.

They are not all terrible. Some are actually quite good, particularly those in the middle of rows. The problem is the "good" seats vary from section to section as you move around the stadium because of the angle you are sitting from the pillars. If you are way back in the section, then the overhead view of punts and kickoffs will get cut off. Depending on what you pay, those seats can be a bargain. Remember, obstructed view seats ONLY exist on the visitors side. All home field side 200 level seats are some of the best seats in the house.

I could swear I saw people sitting in them last year.  I think maybe the Skins were not offering them as SEASON tickets, but I could be wrong. I seem to recall Lafemina and Co. saying that those seats were prone to be occupied more by visiting fans (shrug)

I did notice on Stubhub that the upper level SRO seats are available for purchase. Those sections I believe were closed/roped off last season.

You weren't imagining that. I saw quite a few people sitting in those obstructed view seats behind me all season long. Not a lot....but a fair number of folks. Just as many Redskins fans as visiting fans IMHO.

I'm talking about the seats from row 15 on up in the 200 level.  Check them out on ticketmaster they are priced over $200 each.

I seen the SRO seats back up for sale too.  Don't be surprised if people buy those and just post up in the endzone decks and watch the game from there

Also when I went to the preseason game I notice they were scanning the barcodes to every parking pass coming in.  This seemed to be causing a delay and backup getting in.  I don't know if they were doing this last year but I remember when I had a parking pass you just had to show it and they waived you in.  So if you are using a parking pass I would advise getting there early

They did it last year too.

Then that's not the Redskins selling those tickets. At $200 per ticket is way over the face value. Someone has bought tickets and is trying to make a profit. A serious profit.

I'm  in row 7 and my tickets are $131 each. And in the past, the obstructed view tickets sold by the Redskins was about half that.

But as I said, seats in the middle of rows 14-about 19 can be excellent seats, and a real bargain if there is a true sellout . 🤣 No real obstruction. But you really have to sit in the seat you want to verify there is no obstruction. That's why the Redskins used to let people come to the stadium and sit in the seats before buying a single season pass.

Those rows in the back were not for sale at all last year.  Not even on stubhub. I think row 16 was the furthest up you could buy.  It looks like Skins are selling to ticket brokers again and it looks like they are starting out with high prices for these seats and SRO seats.  Skins must be pressuring them to start out high.

I have always had my parking passes scanned since they began issuing parking passes with bar codes. I always arrive early, so I haven't experienced a delay. But I can imagine that is an issue when you get close to game time.

I know the Redskins said they were not selling those tickets but there were dozens of people in every section at every game last year. Either they bought tickets or they were squatters. But if squatters, why sit way in the back and not up front in the obstructed view seats where there is little if any obstruction.

Why?

I prefer to hang it on the rear view and just roll in.... now i feel the lines will be longer and you will have to show them everytime....

Before it was alot simpler... just my .02

No I did not make that game, but they are supposed to send me the packet in the mail

Agreed, I preferred that too but, (at least in our Redzone lot), they scan each pass, and have done so since the lot has been open. I don't know how other lots work.

A dash pass should make the scanning process faster.   We'll see...

I didn't renew my season tickets this year after 20 years but nonetheless just received a box with the license plate holder and pin.   I guess the sales office had to do something with the hundreds (thousands?) of extra license plate holders collecting dust in the office.  I'm guessing there was a dramatic drop in renewals this year after people like me realized last season we could go on ticketmaster or walk up to the box office on game day and buy the exact same seats for the games we want to attend and not have to waste money on preseason and games in late December when we're 4-10.

I don't know what this means but everything is digital ticketing now.  Not only the rest of the NFL but things like movies and local events like at bars.

It's a cheeky way to say this team is far behind the times, as par for the course the Skins are great at falling behind in nearly everything.
